SERIES HISTORY
•    Babson is 18-26-5 all-time against Brandeis in a series that dates back to 1981.
•    The Beavers are 1-2-2 versus the Judges in five matches since 2021, which includes a 4-3 road victory in 2022. 
•    Wednesday's matchup marks the 50th meeting between the sides, which is the longest-running non-conference series in Babson history. 

LAST MEETING
•    Cleo Grignard '26 and senior Callahan Cottone each made two saves to help the Beavers play to a 0-0 draw with Brandeis on September 2, 2025, in Babson Park. 
•    Amaya Logan finished with five saves for the Judges, who held a slim 13-12 edge in shots. 

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
•    Babson (1-1) recorded its first victory of the season last Saturday, defeating Union 1-0. 
•    First-year Emma Radley scored in the 40th minute, junior Mack Feeney contributed an assist and sophomore Maisie Creamer made one second-half save for the Beavers, who helped first-year head coach Kerry Baldwin pick up her first collegiate win.
•    Junior Josie Lee (6-3-15), senior Caroline Sutherland (3-0-6), junior Lillian McAughan (2-1-5) and sophomore Izzy Lee (2-1-5) combined to score 13 of the team's 18 goals last fall, senior Priscilla-Rose Men-Martin started 16 games in the midfield and classmate Claudia Baiter and sophomore Lindsey Cassady both started all 18 matches along the back line. 
•    Cottone (1-1) has started both matches this fall conceding one goal and making one save, while Creamer has stopped all seven shots she has faced over 90 minutes through two games. 

SCOUTING THE JUDGES
•    Brandeis (1-1) bounced back from an opening-game loss at Clark with a 1-0 win over Johnson & Wales on Saturday. 
•    Grace Carman converted a penalty kick in the 38th minute and Logan made two of her three saves in the second half for the Judges, who finished with a 12-6 edge in shots. 
•    Zareena Mann and Abby Kenkelen both scored three goals last fall and Carman (1-4-6) finished second on the team in assists for a Brandeis squad that lost its top three scorers from a squad that 8-5-4 overall. 
•    Logan was 5-4-3 with a 1.57 goals against average and a .712 save percentage in 11 starts last year, while Penny Alston, who conceded four goals against Clark in the season opener, was 3-1-1 with a 0.81 goals against average and a .833 save percentage in six starts in 2025. 

GETTING FAMILIAR WITH THE UAA
•    In addition to Wednesday's match at Brandeis, the Beavers return to Hartwell-Rogers Field to another UAA foe in second-ranked Emory on Saturday. 
•    The conference sent seven of its eight programs to the NCAA Tournament last season with six advancing to the second round and three to the national semifinals before Washington (Mo.) defeated Emory in the national championship game. 
•    The Green and White also opened the season against NYU, dropping a 1-0 decision on September 1. 

BEAVERS PICKED THIRD IN NEWMAC PRESEASON POLL
•    On the heels of its fifth consecutive top-four finish in the regular season league standings, Babson was picked to finish third when the NEWMAC released its preseason coaches' poll in late August. 
•    The Beavers totaled 97 points to finish just ahead of fourth-place Emerson (94 points), while defending league champions MIT garnered 11 of 12 first place votes to finish well ahead of second-place Springfield (102 points). 

BEAVER BITES
•    Cassady and Baiter have both played all 180 minutes over Babson's first two games. 
•    First-years Jaxie Hrkach and Allie Lanciani both made their collegiate debuts in last Saturday's win over Union.
•    Feeney's assist was her first since October 30, 2024, in a 3-2 win over Springfield. 

NUMBERS TO KNOW
•    Twelve of Babson's last 20 matches going back to the start of last season have featured a total of two goals or fewer.
•    The Beavers are unbeaten in 32 consecutive matches (28-0-4) when leading at halftime dating back to the start of the 2022 campaign. 
•    The Green and White was 4-2-2 on the road last season while conceding just four goals. 
•    Babson is 14-1-3 when scoring the first goal of the match since the beginning of the 2024 campaign.
