KANSAS CITY, Mo.—The Babson College men's soccer program was honored for its hard work in the classroom with United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award accolades earlier this month. 

Led by 41st-year head coach Jon Anderson '75, the Beavers were among 309 collegiate men's programs recognized by the United Soccer Coaches after concluding the 2025-26 academic year with a 3.24 grade-point average. The honor marked the ninth time in the last 11 seasons that the Green and White has claimed Team Academic Award distinction from the organization. 

To be eligible for consideration for team academic award honors, a school must be an active member of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2022-23 academic year.

Babson, which captured its second consecutive New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) and finished 11-7-4 overall after advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season, opens its 2026 campaign against Gordon on September 1 at 4:30 p.m.
