BABSON PARK, Mass. -- A year after his team captured its second straight New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Tournament championship and 12th overall since 2002, Babson College veteran men's soccer coach
Jon Anderson '75 announced the program's 2026 schedule on Tuesday.
The Beavers' 16-game slate includes eight conference matches and five contests against programs that appeared in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, including the last two national champions in Tufts and Amherst.
Babson will open the season at home with an afternoon kick-off against Gordon on September 1 at Hartwell-Rogers Field. The Beavers will be in action at the Keene State tournament on September 5-6, taking on the host Owls on Saturday and Ramapo (N.J.) on Sunday.
Following a visit to local rival and 2025 NCAA Tournament team Brandeis on September 9, the Green and White will be home for three consecutive matches, including non-conference encounters against Roger Williams, also an NCAA Tournament team last fall, on September 15 and Bates on September 19. The home stand wraps up with the NEWMAC opener against Springfield on September 26.
Babson will face tough tests at reigning national champions Tufts on September 30 and home against 2024 champs Amherst on October 7, sandwiched around a NEWMAC tilt vs. Clark on October 3. The remaining six games in October are all conference matchups, beginning with MIT on October 10 in Cambridge.
The Beavers will have consecutive home games vs. Salve Regina and Emerson on October 17 and 21, respectively, followed by tough road trips to defending conference tournament runner-up WPI on October 24 and NCAA tournament regional finalist Wheaton on October 28. The regular season winds up with a home clash against NEWMAC Tournament semifinalist Coast Guard on October 31 at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
The six-team NEWMAC Tournament begins with a pair of quarterfinal matches on November 3. Semifinal contests are set for at the top two seeds on November 5, with the highest remaining seed hosting the conference final on November 7. The NEWMAC champion receives an automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
Babson finished last season with an 11-7-4 overall record and a 4-2-2 conference mark before a 1-0 win over WPI in the NEWMAC Tournament title game. The Beavers went to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth straight year and 33rd time in program history, advancing to the second round.
