KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Babson College men's soccer junior
Alexander Yablonovskiy (Berkeley Heights, N.J.) continued to add to his postseason honors when he received both Scholar All-America and All-Region recognition from the United Soccer Coaches.
Yablonovskiy was named to the All-East Region first team on Wednesday and followed it up by being selected to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America second team on Thursday.
In order to be named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region team, a player must be a junior or above with at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average, and have played in a minimum of 75 percent of games during the season. They also must be an elite player supported by all-conference, all-region or All-America honors.
Yablonovskiy started 19 of 21 matches and produced career highs of 10 goals, four assists and 24 points to lead the team in scoring. He was one of three players tied for first on the squad with a pair of game-winning markers and tied for eighth in Region II in goals and 10th in points to help the Beavers secure their second consecutive New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championship and seventh straight NCAA Tournament berth back in November.
An All-NEWMAC first team and United Soccer Coaches Region II first-team selection this fall, Yablonovskiy was at his best over the Beavers' final 10 matches scoring six times and contributing three assists while finishing with at least one point in seven contests. He also became the first Babson player to score an NCAA Tournament goal in three consecutive seasons with his first-half marker in the team's 2-1 second round loss to No. 7 Connecticut College.
In addition to his on-field awards, Yablonovskiy has been named to the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference squad and earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District recognition in each of the last two seasons.
Babson concluded the 2025 campaign with an overall record of 11-7-4.
