BABSON PARK, Mass.—Pamela P. and Brian M. Barefoot Associate Vice President for Athletics and Athletics Advancement Mike Lynch announced the hiring of Kerry Baldwin as the new head women's soccer coach at Babson College on Thursday morning.

Baldwin, who is just the sixth coach in program history and only the fourth since 1984, takes over for Nellie Pineault MBA '03, who was elevated to associate athletics director for community impact and engagement at Babson in June.
 
Baldwin comes to Babson after spending the last four seasons as the operations coordinator for the Harvard women's soccer program, where she focused on the implementation of team culture, player care, nutrition, and sports psychology. Baldwin also was responsible for scheduling and travel logistics and assisted with the program's women's soccer alumni events while helping Harvard win the inaugural Ivy League Tournament in 2023 before advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
Baldwin also served as an assistant women's soccer coach for the Crimson from 2012-14 and 2016-18. During her four seasons on staff, she helped the program claim a pair of Ivy League championships (2013, 2016), which included finishing 7-0 in conference play for just the third time in school history in 2013, as Harvard made a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances.

Prior to returning to Harvard for her third stint, Baldwin served as assistant athletic director and girls soccer coach at the Brooks School in North Andover, Mass., from 2018-22. In addition to her coaching duties, she served as a teacher and dorm parent while overseeing scheduling for 48 teams.
 
Baldwin got her start in the collegiate coaching ranks as an assistant coach at nearby Brandeis University in 2007. She mentored six National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Americans and six All-University Athletic Association (UAA) all-conference performers as the Judges claimed Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) titles in 2007 and 2008 and went 36-19-9 (.633) over three seasons.
 
Baldwin returned to her alma mater, St. Bonaventure University, as an assistant coach in 2010 and helped the program match its single-season record for wins (12), which included its first Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament victory. The Bonnies returned to the A-10 Tournament again in 2011 and set a new single-season program record with five road wins.
 
In between her first and second stints at Harvard, Baldwin returned to Brandeis as associate head coach for two seasons from 2014-16. The Judges went 13-5-2 on the way to reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2014 and were even better a year later, going 15-3-4 while advancing to the NCAA Tournament sectional semifinals for the first time in school history in 2015.

A native of Longmeadow, Mass., Baldwin enjoyed a standout career as a player, which included being selected as the 2001 Massachusetts Player of the Year and earning NSCAA All-America honors before starting her collegiate career at Providence College in 2002. After being named to the Big East All-Rookie team, she transferred to St. Bonaventure and twice garnered Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors while producing 19 goals and six assists for 44 points over three seasons and earning her degree in sociology in 2007.
