Shane Quinn (Morristown, N.J.) and sophomore
Aman Vantipalli (Alpharetta, Ga.) received PING Division III All-America honorable mention recognition in an announcement made by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Thursday afternoon.
Vantipalli earned a GCAA All-America honorable mention nod for the second year in a row, while Quinn was selected to the team for the first time in his career.
One of four Babson players named to the PING Region I team last month, Quinn teed it up in 17 rounds during the 2025-26 campaign and finished a career-best 74.00 stroke average. He finished at or below par four times, owns two top-25 and four top-50 finishes in six events of at least 36 holes, and concluded the year ranked third in the region and 95th nationally in the Scoreboard Division III rankings.
Quinn recorded his low 54-hole score of 1-under to tie for 45th place at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational in late March and fired a 3-under 68 in the final round to move into a tie for 21st position at the Sam Snead Collegiate on April 14. He was the medalist with an even-par 71 at the one-day Bethpage Black Invitational on April 16 and shot 73-76 in the NCAA Championship at Mission Inn and Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., to conclude his career on May 12-13.
A three-time all-region selection, Quinn played in 51 rounds over four seasons and his 74.82 scoring average ranks sixth on the Beavers' career list. He is the 11th individual in Babson history to collect PING GCAA All-America accolades.
Vantipalli followed up a terrific rookie season that included being named to the Division III All-Freshman team by finishing under par six times and posting a 73.26 scoring average over 27 rounds in 2025-26. He recorded four top-15 and six top-35 finishes in nine tournaments of at least 36 holes and finished 49th at the Division III Championship at Mission Inn and Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., back in May.
Vantipalli fired a 5-under 66 in the second round to finish third at the 54-hole Williams Invitational in September and closed with a 3-under 68 to grab a share of 11th place at the West Pines Collegiate outside Atlanta in October. He posted the low round of his career, a 6-under 66, in round one an tied for 34th position at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational in March and shot 70-75-79-70 to finish 49th overall at the NCAA Championship.
Vantipalli concluded the season ranked first in Region I and 74th nationally in the Scoreboard rankings, and boasts a 73.49 stroke average in 47 rounds over his first two seasons. He joins Jared Meyers '01, Chris Bornhorst '20 and Nicholas Gianelos '22 as the only four players in program history to earn All-America honors in multiple seasons.
Babson qualified for the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2022 last month, where it placed 21st overall after narrowly missing the 36-hole cut.
