WHAT TO KNOW
• The Babson track & field teams are sending a contingent of athletes to compete at the Farley Inter Regional on the campus of Williams College on Friday and Saturday.
• The Beavers will get the weekend underway with the decathlon at 12 p.m. and the 4x400-meter relays at 5 p.m. on Friday afternoon, which will be followed by a full day of competition on Saturday.

• Babson's top men's entries this weekend include sophomore
Nick Yacoub in the 10,000 meters, graduate students
Skyler Mott in the high jump and

NEW ENGLAND DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS RECAP
• Both the Babson men's and women's team registered four All-Region performances in three events, including three individuals and one relay, at the New England Division III Championships last weekend at Springfield as the men finished tied for 20th and the women were tied for 16th.
• Babson's men's 4x400-meter relay team of sophomores

Cameron Mehallo and sophomore
Jackson Adams earned All-Region honors with a third-place finish in a time of 3:19.38, which is the fourth-fastest time in program history. Mehallo placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 54.06, Adams joined him with All-Region honors by placing eighth in a time of 54.82, and first-year
Brady Kirtland earned All-Region with a seventh place in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.37 seconds.

Elaina Head both earn All-Region honors in the high jump for the Beavers, with both clearing 5-feet, 3.75 inches. Head also took fourth place in the triple jump with a mark of 37-feet, 1.25-inches as well as breaking her own program record in the long jump with a mark of 17-feet, 11.25-inches. MAJOR NEWMAC HONOR FOR HEAD
• Head received two major awards when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its women's track & field post-season honors last week, including the Women's Field Athlete of the Year as well as the Women's Track & Field Rookie of the Year.
• A standout in the jumps, Head achieved three podium appearances at the conference meet including two All-NEWMAC performances (top two) and a pair of program records. She captured the long jump title on Friday with a program-record mark of 17-feet, 9.75-inches, then placed third in the high jump on Saturday, matching her season best by clearing 5-feet, 3.25-inches, and completed her day with a runner-up finish in the triple jump with a program-record leap of 37-feet, 7.75-inches,
• Head is just the third athlete in program history to receive a NEWMAC major award following Corman
, who was rookie of the year in 2024, and Marina Capalbo '15, who was track athlete of the year in 2015.
ABOUT THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers finished in fourth place this spring's NEWMAC championships with 87 points, the second-most in program history.
• Mott and Mehallo captured individual championships to lead the way. Mott won the high jump by clearing 6-feet, 7-inches and finished in fourth place in the triple jump with a mark of 45-feet, 10.5-inches. Mehallo won the title in the 400-meter hurdles with a program record time of 53.85 seconds and Adams was fourth in 54.52.
• Kirtland placed fourth in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 14.98 seconds after setting a program record of 14.86 in the preliminaries, and junior
Chris McDonough finished in fifth place in the 100-meter dash in 10.91 seconds.
• Yacoub earned a podium finish in the men's 10,000 meters with a third place in a time of 31:16.26 and finished fifth in the 5000 meters in 15:04.80.
• Sanabria finished in fourth place in the javelin throw with a mark of 171-feet, 8-inches. McDonough was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 21-feet, 10.75-inches, and Bezanson was right behind in fifth with a season-best mark of 21-feet, 4.75-inches.
ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN
• The Beavers scored a program-best 72.5 points and came in fifth for the third time since 2021, just 3.5 points behind fourth-place WPI at the NEWMAC Championships last weekend.
• Head produced podium finishes in three individual events to lead the Beavers. She took first place and broke the program record in the long jump with a leap of 17-feet, 9.75-inches, then earned All-NEWMAC honors with a runner-up finish in the triple jump; she broke her own program record by more than four inches with a mark of 37-feet, 7.75-inches after placing third in the high jump by clearing 5-feet, 3.25-inches earlier in the day.
• In addition to Head's podium finishes, Babson earned another all-conference award in the 4x100-meter relay where Gallant, Hart, Wilkes and Kinerman posted a time of 48.67 to finish second. The mark helped the Beavers garner All-NEWMAC honors in a relay for the first time since 2023 and second time in school history. The Beavers' 4x400 relay team of Kinerman, sophomore

• The Green and White enjoyed a strong meet in the hurdles as Hart came in fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.31 and Corman placed sixth just 0.42 seconds behind her. Senior
Brooke Jankowski finished fourth with a time of 15.19 in the 100-meter hurdles, which was 0.23 seconds ahead of Hart, who placed fifth.
• Rehal placed fifth in the high jump with a mark of 5-feet, 3.25-inches, senior
Trista Sicard finished sixth in the triple jump with a leap of 36-feet, 5.75-inches, and Kinerman came in sixth with a time of 25.92 in the 200 meters.
AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
• With the NCAA Division III nationals just two weeks away, Mott ranks eighth in Division III in the high jump with his program-record-breaking leap of 6-feet, 9.75-inches, while Yacoub is 47th in the 10,000 meters (30:39.52) and Mehallo is 50th in the 400-meter hurdles with his time of 53.85.
• On the women's side, Rehal is ranked 20th in the high jump with her leap of 5-feet, 5.25-inches and Head is 46th in the triple jump (37-feet, 7.75-inches).
