MARLBOROUGH, Mass.— Senior
Lilly Bedard (Jupiter, Fla.) represented the Babson College women's lacrosse team and was recognized for her hard work in the classroom when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its Academic All-Conference team on Thursday.
Bedard earned the academic honor for the third year in a row. Academic all-conference honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale after the 2025 fall semester, achieved second year academic status, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
A senior majoring in Economics and Leadership, People & Organizations, Bedard produced an outstanding season for the Green and White to cap off her career. She earned first-team All-Conference and second-team All-Region for the Beavers after leading the team with new career highs with 36 goals and 37 assists for 73 points.
One of just two players to contribute a point in all 18 games, Bedard produced three or more goals and five or more points seven times, had at least one goal in 16 of 18 contests and dished out at least two assists on 13 occasions. Her 37 assists are the fourth highest single-season total in Babson history, and her 73 points are tied for 13th on the program's single-season list.
Bedard, who missed all but one game of her sophomore campaign due to injury, finished her career with 63 goals and 52 assists for 115 points in 47 contests.
Babson concluded its season at 11-7 after falling to No. 24/15 MIT in the NEWMAC semifinals back on April 29.
