• No. 6 Babson (13-3, 7-0 NEWMAC) has won all nine matches since returning from spring break, including a 6-1 victory over No. 36 Wellesley on Sunday evening.

Matia Cristiani (28-0), ranked No. 1 in singles in Division III by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), improved to 12-0 at number one in singles in dual matches, while Sikharulidze (18-4) is also 12-0 in dual matches since January, including 10-0 at number two. Wang (13-5) is 7-2 in dual matches, and A. Cristiani (9-6) is 6-3 in dual matches for the Beavers.
• M. Cristiani and Sikharulidze (28-2), ranked ninth in Division III, have won 14 in a row at number one doubles going back to October. Five other players have won at least 12 matches in doubles, junior

SCOUTING THE GENERALS
• No. 13 Washington & Lee (16-1, 10-0 ODAC), whose only loss came to No. 5 Emory on March 21, has won five in a row since then, including conference triumphs over Bridgewater (7-0) and Guilford (6-1) back on April 7 in Virginia.
• W&L dropped just one game out in the doubles vs. Guilford as sophomores Sarah Donnelly and Allie Murrell at number one and sophomore Greer Webb and first-year Margarette Berdy at number two both won 6-0 and junior Haley Stoltz and sophomore Mary Kate Kahl were 6-1 winners at number three. The Generals went on to post three 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles by Kahl at number four, Berdy at number two and sophomore Jackie Daynovsky at number six. The fourth and clinching point came from Stoltz at number five (6-0, 6-1), and first-year Sarah Ladd rounded out the W&L points with a 6-0, 6-3 win at number three.
• Berdy (13-3) leads the team in singles wins, including 9-2 in dual matches, while senior Grace Lorenz (13-2) is a team-best 10-1 in dual matches. Ladd (11-5) is 7-3 in dual matches, senior Lauren Long (9-2) has played all of her matches at number one singles, and senior Annie Jennings (9-1) is a perfect 6-0 in dual matches.
• The tandems of Berdy and Ladd (5-3) and Long and Donnelly (5-2) are both 5-2 in dual matches, and four twosomes, including Murrell and Lorenz (4-2) and Webb and Berdy (4-1), have at least four wins apiece.
HOME SWEET HOME
• The Beavers 6-0 at home this spring and 25-1 at the Babson Tennis Courts going back to May 3, 2023.
• Babson has outscored its opponents 38-4 in its six home victories this season.
RUGGED SLATE OF OPPONENTS
• Thursday's match will be the 11th of 12 matches this spring versus teams in the top 36 in the most recent ITA Division III rankings.
• The Beavers are 7-3 thus far this season against ranked teams, with their only losses coming to No. 2 Washington University (4-2), No. 4 Wesleyan (4-2) and No. 13 Johns Hopkins (4-3) on their spring break trip to South Carolina in March.
• Babson has one more match against a ranked team on Saturday when it hosts No. 8 MIT.
REWRITING THE RECORD BOOKS

Matia Cristiani has solidified her spot in the Babson women's tennis record books and is now the program's all-time leader in singles, doubles and combined wins.
• Cristiani's 108 wins in singles, 111 victories in doubles and 219 combined triumphs surpassed the marks set by
Olivia Soffer '25, who won 99 times in singles and 97 times in doubles from 2021-25.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• Babson is a perfect 16-0 at number one doubles and both number one and two singles this season.
• The Green and White are 11-3 at number five and 8-4 at number six singles.
• The Beavers are 13-0 on the year and have won 21 consecutive matches when leading after doubles.
UP NEXT
• The Beavers will wrap up the regular season with a showdown against No. 8 MIT, with the winner claiming the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) regular season title and the No. 1 seed in next week's NEWMAC Tournament.
