SCOUTING THE LASERS
• Lasell (15-17) has won three of its last four games and completed a doubleheader sweep of Rivier with a 14-2 victory on Sunday afternoon.
• Declan Silva was 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored, Tim Callahan went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored, and Jeremy Angeles added two hits and four RBI for the Lasers, who finished with 14 hits and seven walks while scoring all of their runs over the first three innings.
• Silva is batting .403 with 10 doubles, four homers, two triples, 13 stolen bases, 29 RBI and 34 runs scored, Connor Freitas is hitting .371 with five home runs, six doubles, 27 RB and 21 runs scored, and Callahan boasts a .342 average to go along with eight doubles, 14 stolen bases, 24 RBI and 24 runs scored.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
• Johnson & Wales (11-20) has won three of its last four games after defeating Nichols, 9-4, on Tuesday afternoon.
• Yedan Diaz and Diego Taveras both finished with three hits and two runs batted in, and Jack Dwyer went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI for the Wildcats, who got five strikeouts over three shutout innings of relief from Michael Cobb.
• Diaz is hitting .375 with two extra-base hits, 16 RBI and 21 runs scored, Jack Obert is batting .322 with a 1.039 OPS, seven homers, eight doubles, 32 RBI and 32 runs scored, and Ryan Ducey owns a .272 average to go along with four doubles, two home runs, 21 RBI and 31 runs scored.
• Cobb is 1-0 with three saves, a 1.41 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 32.1 innings while holding opposing batters to a .187 average, Brady Morin is 0-4 with a 6.84 ERA in 25.0 innings pitched and Evan LaMothe is 1-3 with a 9.00 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 19.0 innings this spring.
FINKELSTEIN GARNERS CONFERENCE HONOR
• After going 1-0 with a save in two appearances last week, Babson junior
Jason Finkelstein was tabbed as the NEWMAC Pitcher of the Week on Monday.
• He needed just nine pitches in the top of the ninth to record his first career save in the Beavers' 2-1 victory over No. 22 Tufts last Wednesday and then struck out five while giving up just one run on two hits to earn the win to improve to 2-2 on the year in Babson's 11-1 triumph over Emerson in game one of Saturday's doubleheader.
BABSON TRENDS
• Valente has reached base safely in 20 straight games and is batting .372 with a .484 on-base percentage, two homers, five doubles, 21 RBI and 29 runs scored during this stretch.
• Grace leads the team with 11 multi-hit and 10 RBI multi-RBI games, while Christensen has finished with at least two hits 10 times this spring.
• Moses owns a four-game hitting streak since returning from injury, Teator and Grace have reached base safely in nine straight games, and D'Avanzo owns an eight-game on base streak.

• Babson entered Tuesday's contest at Springfield ranked second in Division III in double plays per game (1.17) and 11th overall nationally with 31 twin killings.
• The Beavers, who had their streak of recording at least one double play halted at seven in Saturday's loss to Emerson, have turned 13 double players over the past 11 games.
