WHAT TO KNOW
• The Babson men's and women's track & field teams head to New London, Conn., for the Coast Guard Invitational on Saturday.
• The field events get underway at 10 a.m. with the track events set to start at 11 a.m.
2025 COAST GUARD INVITATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
• Both the Babson men's and women's teams captured first place in three events and placed second in three events on the way to a fourth-place team finish at the annual Coast Guard Invitational on April 5, 2025 at the Nitchman Track.
• Sophomores
Dominic Smith (400 meters) and
Patrick Allardi (110M hurdles) finished in first place in their respective events to lead the Beavers, and the team of Smith, classmates
Jackson Adams and
Noa Wong and junior
Stratton Seymour won the 4x400 meter relay. Wong (400 meters) and Adams (400M hurdles) also posted runner-up finishes, and the quartet of sophomore
Aithan Bezanson, Wong, Allardi and Smith finished second in the 4x100 meter relay.

Colleen Corman (400M hurdles) captured first-place finishes for the Beavers, along with the team of Angela Hagstrom '25, senior

ABOUT THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers won two events and registered five Division III New England Regional provisional qualifying performances at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic last Friday and Saturday at the UMD Track & Field Complex.
• Junior
Jonathan Hanscom took first place in the 10,000 meters night with a New England Division III regional provisional qualifying time of 32:39.40, and the quartet of first-year
Cameron Mehallo, junior
Niko Manolakos, Adams and Smith crossed the finish line in first place with a time of 3:30.09 in the 4x400-meter relay.
• Adams finish in second place in the 400-meter hurdles in 55.82 seconds, the second-fastest time in program history and an automatic regional qualifying time. First-year
Brady Kirtland was runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles, and classmate
Boston Thomas was fifth in a NED3 provisional qualifying time of 16.22.
• Smith finished second in the 400 meters in a regional provisional qualifying time (51.08), and junior
Brian Gall finished runner-up in the 5000 meters in 15:48.01. Junior
Chris McDonough was third in the 100 meters in a regional provisional qualifying time (10.99).
ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN
• The Beavers won five events and registered a pair of Division III New England regional provisional qualifying performances at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic last Saturday.
• Hart captured the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 15.52 seconds, Corman crossed the finish line in first place in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:06.53, and Clifford was the winner of the 800 meters in 2:26.29.
• The Green and White brought home first place in both relay events. The quartet of Gallant, Hart, Wilkes and first-year
Marcilee Kinerman captured the 4x100-meter relay in 49.55 seconds, and the foursome of Clifford and first-years
Serena Thaker,
Reagan Myer and Kinerman garnered first place in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:17.31.
• Senior
Brooke Jankowski came in second in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.64 seconds, Wilkes was runner-up in the 200 meters (26.57), and Kinerman was second in the 400 meters (1:01.50), which is tied for the sixth-fastest time in program history and a D3NE regional provisional qualifier. Senior
Trista Sicard (triple jump) and Rehal (high jump) led the Beavers with victories in field events.
NEWMAC HONORS
• Both Babson teams were recognized when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) released its first round of weekly honors on Monday.
• Graduate student
Skyler Mott was named Men's Field Athlete of the Week after setting a new program standard in the high jump of 6-feet, 9-75 inches and establishing another program record in the triple jump (46-feet, 2.75-inches) at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational to open the season back on March 20.
• The women's quartet of Gallant, Hart, Wilkes and Kinerman was named Women's Relay Team of the Week after establishing a new program record in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 48.95 at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.
PROGRAM RECORDS
• Mott's new program standard in the high jump (6-feet, 9-75-inches) bettered the mark of 6-3.25 by Sean Rezendes '20 at the NCAA Championships in 2018, and his program record in the triple jump (46-feet, 2.75-inches) surpassed the mark of 45-2.25 by Cezary Bialon '16 at the 2015 NEWMAC Championships.
• The new women's record in the 4x100-meter relay bettered the mark of 49:25 set in 2023 by Caroline Reilly '23, Jankowski, Wilkes, and Angela Hagstrom '25.
MEN'S EAST REGION LEADERS
• The Babson men have eight individual performances that rank in the top 10 in the NCAAA east region this spring.
• Mott is first in the region in the high jump (6-feet, 9.75-inches) and second in the triple jump (46-feet, 2.75-inches). Sophomore
Nick Yacoub is first in the 10,000 meters (39:39.52), McDonough is seventh in the 100 meters (10.99), and the team of Mehallo, Manolakos, Adams and Smith is seventh in the 4x400-meter relay (3:30.09).
• Adams is ranked eighth in the 400-meter hurdles (55.82), grad student
Diego Sanabria is eighth in the javelin (175-feet, 0-inches), and Mehallo is 10th in the 400 meters (50.46).
WOMEN'S EAST REGION LEADERS
• The Babson women have 11 individual performances that rank in the top 10 in the NCAA east region this spring.
• Rehal is first in the region in the high jump (5-feet, 4.25-inches), first-year
Elaina Head is third in the high jump (5-feet, 2.25-inches) and fifth in the triple jump (35-feet, 5.25-inches), and Sicard is sixth in the triple jump (35-feet, 5-inches).
• On the track, the Beavers' 4x100 meter relay is third in the East (48.95), Hart (15.53) and Jankowski (15.64) are fourth and sixth respectively in the 100-meter hurdles, and the 4x400 meter relay team is fifth (4:17.31). Kinerman (12.48) is sixth in the 100 meters, Corman (1:06.57) is seventh in the 400-meter hurdles, and senior
Alexandra Kirkpatrick (42:08.39) is 10th in the 10,000 meters.
UP NEXT
• The Beavers will be back in action in Medford next weekend, beginning with day one of the Tufts Multi-Meet on Friday and continuing with the Tufts Spring Invitational on Saturday.
