CAMBRIDGE, Mass.— The Babson College women's track & field team broke the program record in the 4x100-meter relay for the third time this season to highlight nine top-5 finishes at the Sean Collier Invitational on Saturday at MIT's Morrison Track.
The quartet of junior
Reese Gallant (West Newbury, Mass.), sophomore
Victoria Hart (Greenwich, Conn.), senior
Robyn Wilkes (Atlanta, Ga.) and first-year
Marcilee Kinerman (Atlanta, Ga.) took first place in the 4x100 relay in a record-breaking time of 48.24 seconds. They were more than a half-second faster than the record-time of 48.77 they ran at the Coast Guard Invitational two weeks ago.
The Beavers had several second-place finishes. Senior
Trista Sicard (Mansfield, Mass.) was second in the triple jump with a mark of 36-feet, 3-inches, which is an automatic New England regional championship qualifying mark. Sophomore
Amrit Rehal (Alpharetta, Ga.) and first-year
Elaina Head (Kailua Kona, Hawaii) finished second and third, respectively, in the high jump with successful clears of 5-feet, 4.25-inches and 5-feet, 2.25-inches.

Serena Thaker (South Windsor, Conn.), first-year
Reagan Myer (Berryville, Va.), and Head finished runner-up in a time of 4:12.03.
Senior
Chloe Clifford (Marshfield, Mass.) brought home a fourth-place finish in the 800 meters in a season-best time of 2:23.27. Senior
Brooke Jankowski (Derry, N.H.) was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles in a season-best 15.33 seconds, and Kinerman finished fifth in both the 100 meters in 12.49 seconds and the 200 meters in a season-best 25.86 seconds.
Other top-10 finishes on the track include Gallant (season-best 12.61) and Wilkes (12.80) finishing seventh and ninth in the 100 meters; Hart and senior
Julia Pike (Mansfield, Mass.) placing seventh and ninth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.49 and 15.99, respectively; Myer placing 10th in the 400 meters in a season-best 1:01.29; and first-year
Angelina Widmer (Wantagh, N.Y.) coming in 10th in the 800 meters in a season-best 2:27.72.
A pair of top-10 showings in field events included sophomore
Kate Henderson (Basking Ridge, N.J.) finishing seventh in the javelin with a mark of 106-feet, 5-inches, and first-year
Emma Hsu (Tenafly, N.J.) placing seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 34-feet, 1.25-inches.
With the regular season in the books, the Beavers will compete in the annual NEWMAC Championships on April 24-25 at Coast Guard in New London, Conn.
