WHAT TO KNOW
• Babson track & field will be represented in both the men's and women's high jump at the NCAA Division III Championships on Friday in La Crosse, Wisc.
• Graduate student
Skyler Mott will compete for the Babson men and sophomore
Amrit Rehal will be in the field for the Babson women.
• Both athletes will be making their first NCAA Championships appearance for the Beavers, and both are the first from Babson to compete in the high jump on the national stage.
CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE
• Mott will be the first to compete when the men's event begins on Friday at 12 p.m. ET/11 a.m. CT.
• Rehal will follow when the women take center stage Friday at 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT.
THE ROAD TO NATIONALS
• Mott is seeded 10th in the men's field based on his program-record performance of 6-feet, 9.75-inches (2.08 meters) back on March 21 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
• Mott registered five first-place finishes in six appearances this spring, clearing 6'9" two other times and 6'8.75" once. He captured the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championship with a height of 6'7" on April 25.
• Rehal is seeded 15th in the women's event with her program-record leap of 5-feet, 6-inches (1.68 meters) on May 9 at the Farley Inter Regional meet at Williams College.
• Rehal recorded one first place and three runner-up finishes in eight meets this spring, in addition to a third place showing at the New England Division III championships on May 2.

BABSON MEN IN THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
• Mott is the sixth Babson man to compete in the NCAA Championships, following Dominic Esposito '15, John Decker '18, Colin Cianciolo '22, Eric Bottern '24 and Anthony Esposito '24 M'25.
• Esposito finished 15th in the decathlon in 2015; Decker placed fourth (2017) and 11th (2018) in the 800 meters; Cianciolo was 14th in the 400 meters in 2022; Bottern placed 12th (2023) and eighth (2024) in the shot put, and Rodriguez crossed the finish line eighth (2024) and 21st (2025) in the 10,000 meters.
• Three Beavers earned All-America recognition as Decker finished fourth in the 800 meters in 2017, Bottern was eighth (first team) in the shot put in 2024, and Rodriguez was 12th (second team) in the 10,000 meters in 2024.
BABSON WOMEN IN THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
• Rehal became just the third Babson woman to qualify for the NCAA Championships and first since 2022, following on the heels of Marina Capalbo '15 and Katherine Jacobs '22, who each had multiple NCAA appearances.
• Capalbo ran the 1500 meters at the NCAAs three years in a row from 2013-15, placing 17th in both 2013 and 2015 as well as finishing 19th in 2014.
• Jacobs competed in the 100-meter hurdles in back-to-back seasons in 2021 and 2022, placing 18th in her debut in 2021 and earning an All-America honor with an eighth-place showing in 2022.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The top men's high jump performances in Division III this spring are 7-feet, 1-inch by Lamont Victoria and Jamarcus Brown, both of Lynchburg, and 7-feet, one-quarter-inch by Noah Wampole and David Brown, both of Rowan.
• The top men's high jumps at last year's NCAA meet were 7-feet, one-quarter-inch by Jackson Bliey of MIT and Christian Pfeiffer of Baldwin-Wallace.
• The top women's performances in Division III this spring are 5-feet, 10.75-inches by Serena McNeilly of Centre and 5-feet, 10-inches by Allie Wildsmith of Coast Guard.
• The top women's high jumps at last year's NCAA meet were 5-feet, 10.75-inches by Wildsmith and 5-feet, 7.25-inches by Hannah Zastrow of Wisc.-Stout.
