vs. Bowdoin
• Babson is 2-8 all-time against Bowdoin in a series that dates back to 1994.
• Last year's Beaver victory was the first game between the Beavers and Polar Bears since 2011 and the first in the regular season since 2005.
• Tuesday's game is the first in Babson Park since 2005, and the Beavers are 1-4 on home turf with the only win coming in 1996.

Clare Connolly '25 scored four times and tallied the go-ahead goal with 5:49 remaining to help No. 14 IWLCA/No. 16 USA Lacrosse Babson rally to defeat Bowdoin, 12-10, on April 13, 2025, in Brunswick, Maine.

Ellie Hilsabeck M'25 had two goals and two assists, and
Jessica Evans '25 contributed three goals, all in the second half, to go along with three draw controls and two caused turnovers.
Eileen Manning M'25 finished with a team-high three caused turnovers and
Kathleen Murphy '25 made seven saves in the victory.
• Junior Grace Harvey finished with two goals, six draw controls and four ground balls, while Lauren Burke '25, Georgia Gallagher '25 and junior Molly Reed each scored twice for the Polar Bears. Sophomore Katie Athanasoulas led all players with four caused turnovers and fellow sophomore Hannah Rubin and Sophie Brett '25 combined for five saves in the loss.
vs. Salve Regina
• Connolly produced career-highs of seven goals and 24 draw controls and broke the NCAA Division III record for career draw controls as No. 14/16 Babson rolled past Salve Regina, 19-7, on April 5, 2025, in Newport, R.I.
• The Beavers also got four goals and two assists from Evans, three goals and two helpers from
Kathryn Blake '25, and two goals and two assists from
Amelia Novitch '25 while
Nora Lema'25 collected a game-high three assists. Murphy finished with six saves in 45 minutes between the pipes.
• Sophomore Nora Cooney led the Seahawks with two goals and one assist and classmate Adelaide Baird contributed two goals and one assist. Cameron Baston '25 grabbed a pair of draw controls and Baird scooped up two ground balls. Sophomore Flynn Kayajan grabbed seven ground balls and made a season-high 24 saves in the setback.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (7-5, 4-3 NEWMAC), ranked 18th by USA Lacrosse Magazine, has alternated wins and losses over the last six games, including a 19-8 setback at MIT last Saturday in Cambridge.
• Senior
Lilly Bedard finished with three goals and one assist for four points, while first-years
Jenna Wong and
Margaux Boneu each scored twice to pace the Beavers. Fellow rookie
Grace Rooney scored once and had three draw controls, sophomore
Courtney Laden finished with a team-high five draw controls to go along with two ground balls and one caused turnover, and junior
Morgan McGahan stopped five shots in the loss.
• Bedard (25-23-48) leads the team in scoring and is ranked fifth in the NEWMAC in assists, and Wong (22-2-24) is second on the team in goals. Junior
Jen Austin (8-9-17) is second on the team in assists and Laden (16-0-16) is third on the squad in goals. Laden (42) is ninth in the NEWMAC in draw controls and ranks sixth in the league with 19 caused turnovers.
• McGahan (7.99 GAA, .416 sv. pct., 47 saves) has started all 11 games and is second in the NEWMAC in goals against average.
SCOUTING THE POLAR BEARS
• Bowdoin (4-8, 0-8 NESCAC) snapped a four-game losing streak with a 16-5 non-conference triumph over Endicott on Sunday in Brunswick.
• First-year Grace Schorr (4g, 1a) and sophomore Tate Ryan (4g) led the Polar Bears in scoring while junior Annie Bermingham led the team with four assists. Senior Miya Imaeda (3g), sophomore Mara Muse (2g, 1a) and Harvey (2g, 1a) all had three points, Harvey registered a team-high six draw controls, and senior Courtney McKenna and first-year Alexa McCormick both caused four turnovers. McKenna and Harvey shared team-high honors with five ground balls apiece, and Rubin and first-year Alex Genua combined for five saves in goal in the win.
• Schorr (25-13-28) leads the team in goals and points, Imaeda (19-14-33) is second in goals, assists, and points, and Bermingham (13-17-30) leads the team in assists. Harvey (19-5-24) and Ryan (18-2-20) both have at least 20 points, and Muse (15-4-19) and senior Ellie Fabbro (14-2-16) are approaching those totals. Harvey tops the NESCAC with 72 draw controls, Athanasoulas (30) and Harvey (24) are both in the top five in the NESCAC in caused turnovers, and Athanasoulas (28), Harvey (26) and McKenna (26) are the team leaders in ground balls.
• Genua (9.60 GAA, .381 sv. pct.) has started seven games in goal for the Polar Bears and Rubin (9.14 GAA, .415 sv. pct.) had gotten the starting nod five times.
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
• Salve Regina (7-6, 3-4 NEWMAC) had a two-game winning streak snapped with an 18-7 loss to Springfield on Senior Day at Gaudet Field in Middletown, R.I.
• Junior Alix Madden (3g, 1a) and Cooney (2g, 1a) led the Seahawks in scoring while junior Danielle Bruno and sophomore Madison Maire added one goal each. Cooney (6) and Bruno (5) combined for 11 draw controls, sophomore Abigail Tishon led the team with four caused turnovers and three ground balls, and junior Anne Kennedy and graduate student Lois Manning each collected two CTs and two GBs. Kayajan made six saves in goal in the setback.
• Madden (38-13-51) is tied for eighth in the NEWMAC in goals, Bruno (23-12-35) is second on the team in scoring and Maire (27-4-31) and Cooney (25-6-31) are tied for third on the squad in points. Bruno is in the top five in the NEWMAC with 57 draw controls, Baird (18) and Tishon (17) are in the top 10 in caused turnovers, and Baird (30) and Madden (25) are 1-2 on the team in ground balls.
• Kayajan (10.40 GAA, .467 sv. pct.) has played every minute in goal in all 13 games for the Seahawks and ranks fifth in the league in save percentage.
MIGHTY MACDOWELL
• The Beavers are 5-1 at MacDowell Field this season, outscoring the opponents 82-40.
• Babson is 11-2 at home since last season and 20-3 going back to the beginning of the 2024 season.
SUCCESS IN THE NEWMAC
• Babson has won 32 of its last 36 NEWMAC regular season games going back to 2023 and is 40-5 in regular season conference games dating back to 2022.
• The Beavers have finished in the top two in the NEWMAC regular season race in the last eight full seasons going back to 2016.
BABSON VS. THE NESCAC
• Tuesday's contest is the second Babson game this season against schools from the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC). The Beavers fell to No. 1 Middlebury last month.
• Babson has produced a victory against the NESCAC in three of the last four seasons, defeating Williams 13-12 in 2022, taking down No. 13 Trinity, 16-7, in 2024, and edging Bowdoin last season, 12-10.
ROOKIE CLASS
• The first-year class for the Beavers has made a strong impact on this year's team, with eight rookies seeing action in at least eight games and six starting at least four contests.

Grace Rooney (13g) are all in the top six on the team in scoring, and Rooney (17),
Allie Collins (16), and Burtch (13) are 2-3-4 on the squad in draw controls.

CONSISTENT PLAY
• Laden has produced at least three points in three of her last four games and three draw controls in seven of her last eight games along with at least one draw control in all 12 games this season.
• Bedard has six multi-goal games in her last seven outings, and has at least two points in 11 of her 12 games this spring.
• Wong has six multi-goal games this spring and at least one point in all 12 outings.
