SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 4-5 all-time against Skidmore in a series that dates back to 2003.
• The Beavers had their two-game winning streak snapped in an 2OT loss to Thoroughbreds back in 2023.

LAST MEETING
• Lily Schwartzman tied the game with 16 seconds to go in regulation and scored the game-winning goal with 1:43 left in the second overtime period as Skidmore rallied to defeat the Beavers, 11-10, on February 25, 2023, in Babson Park.
• Gabriella Modesti finished with two goals and four assists for six points, Maddy Marr produced two goals and two assists and Schwartzman scored three times and three caused turnovers for the Thoroughbreds, who got 10 saves from Phoebe Beshlian and scored eight of the final nine goals in the game to erase a six-goal deficit.

Amelia Novitch '25 and Nicole Darveau '24 both scored twice, and

SCOUTING THE THOROUGHBREDS
• Skidmore (4-1) bounced back from its first loss of the season by defeating Roger Williams, 15-9, on Saturday in Bristol, R.I.
• Julia Carasso finished with three goals, two assists, three ground balls and two caused turnovers, Lily Hudner and Piper Morgan both scored three times, and Tatum Walsh made eight saves for the Thoroughbreds, who scored 14 of the final 17 goals after falling behind 6-1 late in the first quarter.
• Morgan (16-0-16) and Cafasso (12-4-16) have both recorded four multi-goal games, Phoebe Ross (3-13-16) ranks 16th in Division III in assists and Allison Brewer (7-1-8) has scored in four consecutive outings.
• Charlotte Taylor (6-0-6) is first on the team with 16 draw controls, Hudner (5-0-5) leads the squad with four caused turnovers and Walsh is 4-1 with a 10.69 goals against average and a .433 save percentage in five starts on the year.
JONES, NEWSOME EARN PRESEASON HONORS
• Jones and junior
Lyndsey Newsome both garnered USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-America recognition back in late January.
• Newsome, who started all 19 games and recorded seven ground balls and two caused turnovers, was one of four defenders named to the third team, while Jones received an honorable mention after finishing the year with 31 draw controls, 21 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers in 18 contests as a midfielder in 2025.
HOME COOKING
• Babson is 16-2 going back to the start of the 2024 campaign on MacDowell Field, which includes 12 consecutive regular season victories dating back nearly two years to March 23, 2024.
• The Beavers have scored at least 14 goals in all 12 of the wins and have limited their opponents to seven goals or fewer 10 times during the streak.
• In eight games at home going back to the start of last season, the Green and White has outscored its foes 137-71.
BEAVER BITES
• Wong's six goals in the February 28 win over Framingham State are the most by a Babson freshman since at least 2012.

• Babson was a perfect 17-for-17 on clears in the win over Framingham State and has been successful on 84.8 percent of is clearing opportunities to start the season.
