NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.— The Babson College women's track & field team won five events and posted 17 top-five finishes in a solid team performance at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Corsair Classic Saturday afternoon at the UMD Track & Field Complex.
The Beavers also registered a pair of Division III New England Regional provisional qualifying performances in the non-team scoring event.
Sophomore
Victoria Hart (Greenwich, Conn.) captured the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 15.52 seconds as one of four top-six finishers for the Beavers. Senior
Brooke Jankowski (Derry, N.H.) came in second in a time of 15.64 seconds, followed by junior
Julia Pike (Mansfield, Mass.) in fourth in 16.48 and first-year
Madeline Thai (Bangor, Maine) in sixth in 17.01.
Junior
Colleen Corman (Quaker Hill, Conn.) crossed the finish line in first place in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:06.53. Senior
Chloe Clifford (Marshfield, Mass.) was the winner of the 800 meters in a time of 2:26.29, while first-year
Angelina Widmer (Wantagh, N.Y.) was fourth in 2:33.25 and junior
Ava Newton (Danvers, Mass.) placed eighth in 2:38.64.
The Beavers brought home first place in both relay events. The quartet of junior

Robyn Wilkes (Atlanta, Ga.), and first-year
Marcilee Kinerman (Atlanta, Ga.) captured the 4x100-meter relay in 49.55 seconds, and the foursome of Clifford and first-years
Serena Thaker (South Windsor, Conn.),
Reagan Myer (Berryville, Va.) and Kinerman garnered first place in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:17.31.
Kinerman turned in an impressive time in her second-place finish in the 400 meters with a 1:01.50. It is tied for the sixth-fastest time in program history and is a Division III New England regional provisional qualifier. She was one of five Beavers to place in the top nine in the event, followed by Myer in third place (1:02.39), Thaker in fifth (1:03.28), first-year
Grace Sanyu (Framingham, Mass.) in eighth (1:06.46), and first-year
Maeve Schermerhorn (Wakefield, Mass.) in ninth (1:07.97).
Wilkes led a group of three top-eight Babson placers in the 200 meters, finishing runner-up in a time of 26.57 seconds. She was followed by Myer in fourth place (NED3 qualifying time of 26.94) and Sanyu in eighth (28.48).
Senior
Trista Sicard (Mansfield, Mass.) and sophomore
Amrit Rehal (Alpharetta, Ga.) led the Beavers in field events with second-place finishes. Sicard was runner-up in the triple jump with a leap of 33-feet, 4.75 inches, followed by first-year
Emma Hsu (Tenafly, N.J.) in fifth with a mark of 32-feet, 9-inches. Rehal was second in the high jump with a mark of 5-feet, 3.5 inches, and first-year
Elaina Head (Kailua Kona, Hawaii) was fourth clearing a height of 5-feet, 2.25-inches.
The Beavers will be back in action next Saturday at the Coast Guard Invitational in New London, Conn.
