SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (3-2, 0-1 NEWMAC), ranked 18th by USA Lacrosse Magazine and receiving votes in the IWLCA Division III poll, is looking to bounce back from a 12-6 loss at No. 14/15 The College of New Jersey last Wednesday in Ewing, N.J.

Jenna Wong tallied a goal and an assist, Bedard collected two assists, and grad student

• McGahan has a 8.26 goals against average and a .449 save percentage with 31 saves in five starts between the pipes.
SCOUTING THE BLUE
• Wellesley (3-4, 1-1 NEWMAC) snapped a three-game losing skid with a 15-12 conference victory over Emerson on Saturday.
• First-year Milica Simic led the Blue with 10 points on seven goals and three assists, while sophomore Charlotte Petersen-Kopman (3g, 1a) and first-year Eliza Wysong (3g) combined for six goals. Simic also contributed five draw controls, two caused turnovers and two ground balls, Wysong had four DCs, three GBs, and two CTs, and first-year Suhani Khandelwal scooped up a team-high four ground balls.
• Simic (29-5-34) is enjoying a superb rookie season and leads the team scoring. Petersen-Kopman (15-2-17) is a capable goal scorer and first-year Fran Primoli (8-3-11) has reached double digits in points. Wysong tops the squad with 31 draw controls and 21 ground balls, and sophomore Amelia Woodard (12 CTs) and Wysong (10 CTs) spearhead the defense for the Blue.
• Senior Anna Blake Patrick has posted an 11.88 goals against average and a .392 save percentage with 20 saves in seven starts between the pipes. First-year Scarlett McArthur (14.01 GAA, .328 sv. pct, 22 svs) has played 192 minutes in goal off the bench.
NEWMAC PRESEASON POLL
• The three-time defending regular season champion Beavers received three of the 11 first-place votes and finished second in this year's NEWMAC preseason coaches' poll.
• Defending tournament champion MIT finished first with eight first-place votes. Springfield was third in the poll, and Coast Guard and Smith rounded out the top five, while Wellesley finished 11th in the voting.
SUCCESS IN THE NEWMAC
• Babson has won 27 of its last 28 NEWMAC regular season games going back to 2023 and is 36-3 in regular season conference games dating back to 2022.
• The Beavers have finished in the top two in the NEWMAC regular season race in the last eight full seasons going back to 2016.
• The Green and White outscored the opponents 199-64 while going 10-0 in the conference last season.
MACDOWELL ACHIEVEMENTS
• The Beavers are 2-0 at MacDowell Field this season, outscoring the opponents 30-10, and are 17-2 at home since the beginning of the 2024 season.
• Babson outscored its opponents 116-69 at home last spring and scored at least 14 goals in six of the seven outings.
CONSISTENT PLAY
• Bedard has at least one points in all five games this season and multiple points in four of the five.
• Wong has scored in all five outings this spring and has multi-point performances in four of the five.
• Laden has collected at least one ground ball, one caused turnover and one draw control against all five opponents this spring, with more than one of each in four of the five.

• The Beavers are tied for third in the NEWMAC with 2.25 woman-up goals per game.
