MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.— The Babson College women's track & field team set a program record in the 4x100-meter relay Saturday afternoon on the final day of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational inside Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium.
The Beavers finished in 23rd place out of 34 teams with 8.5 points, just behind Newberry College (9). UConn finished first in the team scoring with 147.5 points while South Carolina was second with 108 points and Coastal Carolina was third with 95.

Reese Gallant (West Newbury, Mass.), sophomore
Victoria Hart (Greenwich, Conn.), senior
Robyn Wilkes (Atlanta, Ga.), and first-year
Marcilee Kinerman (Atlanta, Ga) finished 13th in the 4x100 relay in a program record time of 48.95 seconds. They bettered the mark of 49:25 set in 2023 by Caroline Reilly '23, senior
Brooke Jankowski (Derry, N.H.), Wilkes, and
Angela Hagstrom '25.
The Beavers had two top-8 finishers in the high jump as sophomore
Amrit Rehal (Alpharetta, Ga.) placed sixth with a mark of 5-feet, 4.25 inches, and first-year
Elaina Head (Kailua Kona, Hawaii) finished eighth with a jump of 5-feet, 2.25 inches.
The Green and White had three jumpers compete in the Open triple jump, with Head finishing first with a mark of 35-feet, 5.25 inches, senior
Trista Sicard (Mansfield, Mass.) was second with a leap of 35-feet, 4.75 inches, and first-year
Emma Hsu (Tenafly, N.J.) was fourth with a mark of 34-feet, 0.25 inches.
Also competing for the Beavers was
junior Colleen Corman (Quaker Hill, Conn.), who was 11th in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:06.57, and Wilkes, who finished 67th in the 200 meters in 26.95 seconds.
The Beavers are back in action at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic on Saturday, March 28.
