WHAT TO KNOW
• The Babson men's and women's track & field team travel to Myrtle Beach, S.C., to compete in the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational for the second consecutive season beginning on Thursday night.
• Babson is one of 53 schools participating in the three-day meet, which features programs from more than 20 states.
SCHEDULE
• Competition will get underway at 1 p.m. on Thursday with the decathlon and heptathlon, hammer throw and the men's and women's 10,000 meters.
• Field events get underway at 9 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday and track events start at 12 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday.
A LOOK BACK ON 2025
• Led by head coach
Russ Brennen, who is now in is 22nd season at Babson, the Beavers are coming off a 2025 campaign that featured four USTFCCCA All-East Region selections, three NEWMAC All-Conference awards and new school records in four events.

Aithan Bezanson set a new program marks in in the decathlon and 400-meter hurdles on the way to earning all-region accolades, junior
Chris McDonough claimed USTFCCCA All-East Region laurels for the second year in a row and
Anthony Rodriguez '24 M'25, who was all-region in a pair of distance events, and sophomore
Nick Yacoub finished first and second in the 10,000 meters at the NEWMAC Championships.

Amrit Rehal set a new program record in the high jump on the way to earning both all-region and all-conference recognition, while junior
Brigid Kelly became the new school-record holder in the hammer.
ABOUT THE BABSON WOMEN
• The Beavers return 22 athletes from a team that placed eighth with 46 points, their third most in program history, at last year's NEWMAC Championships.

Victoria Hart placed third in 100-meter hurdles and junior Colleen Corman took third in the 400-meter hurdles at the 2025 conference meet.

Chloe Clifford are part of the program's top time in the 4x400-meter relay, which also was set back in 2023.
ABOUT THE BABSON MEN
• The Beavers bring back 21 athletes from a team that placed fifth with 79 points, good for the third most in program history, at the 2025 NEWMAC Championships.
• In addition to the all-conference honors for Yacoub in the 10,000 meters and McDonough in the 100-meter dash, Babson recorded nine top-five finishes at last year's conference meet, which includes fifth-place results for both senior
Joseph Addotta in the discus and sophomore
Jackson Adams in the 400-meter hurdles.
• McDonough enters the 2026 campaign as the Beavers' school-record holder in both the 100 meters (10.54) and 200 meters (21.80), and also helped the Green and White achieve the program's top time in the 4x100-meter relay as a freshman back in 2024.

Patrick Allardi will look to build on a rookie campaign that saw him record the program's second fastest time in the 110-meter hurdles (15.10), while Adams' top mark of 56.08 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles ranks second behind only Bezanson.
TOP TIMES
• Yacoub's time of 14:54.26 in the 5000 meters at last year's Farley Inter Regional ranks 10th in program history, while Bezanson owns top-10 marks in the 110-meter hurdles (15.25), long jump (21-feet, 8.25-inches), high jump (6-feet, 2.75-inches) and javelin (173-feet, 9-inches).
• Addotta's top throw of 132-feet, 9-inches ranks ninth all-time in the discus.
• For the Babson women, Wilkes owns the Beavers' top seven times in the 200 meters, Sicard holds the top two marks in the triple jump, and Rehal boasts five of the top seven in the high jump.
• Jankowski's mark of 17-feet, 0.50-inches ranks second in Babson history in the long jump and she also ranks ninth in the high jump by clearing 5-feet, 1.25-inches.
SETTING THE STANDARD
• Babson has had at least one athlete qualify for the NCAA Championships in five consecutive seasons since 2021 and 10 times in 12 years going back to 2013.

Anthony Rodriguez '24 M'25 qualified for the second year in a row in the 10,000 meters last season giving the Babson men at least one qualifier four years in a row.
