HENNIKER, N.H.—The Babson College men's alpine ski team swept the podium for the second race in a row and third time this season on the way to winning the slalom at Pat's Peak on Saturday.
The victory was the 19th in a row for the Beavers, which secured their second consecutive MacConnell Division title last weekend.
First-year
Niko Leunig (Evergreen, Colo.) recorded the fastest second-run time among all competitors and finished atop the podium for the sixth straight race and seventh time this winter with a two-run time of 1:31.12. Sophomore
Connor Roy (Wellesley, Mass.) registered the first runner-up finish of his career with a time of 1:32.32, which was just 0.13 seconds ahead of senior
Elliot Perretta (Annecy, France), who placed third.
Sophomore
James Rosenbloom (Stowe, Vt.) came in fifth with a time of 1:34.06 and sophomore
Jett Sheppard (Park City, Utah) finished 14th among league competitors with a time of 1:42.04.
Babson concludes its regular season on Sunday with a giant slalom race at Waterville Valley.
