• Babson is 32-44 all-time against Springfield in a series that dates back to the 1976-77 campaign.

Timmy O'Toole contributed nine points, a career-high 20 rebounds, three blocks and three steals for the Beavers, who trailed by as many as 20 points just over three minutes into the second half.
• Josiah Evely recorded 15 points and nine rebounds, Zachary Campbell scored 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting and Josh Hartley added 12 points, seven boards and four blocked shots for Springfield, which was just 10-of-19 (52.6 percent) from the free throw line in the second half and overtime.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (14-6, 8-3 NEWMAC) has won eight of its last nine games and is coming off an 86-70 victory over Coast Guard on Wednesday night.
• Mulvey led four players in double figures with 20 points, Ferdinando scored 13 of his 17 in the second half and O'Toole provided 12 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, five steals and two blocks for the Beavers, who pulled away with a 23-4 run midway through the second half.
• Ferdinando (15.8 pts, 3.7 reb, 2.6 ast) is shooting 45.3 percent from long range and has scored in double figures in 11 straight games, Mulvey (15.3 pts, 2.7 ast) has made 36 of his NEWMAC-best 67 three-pointers over the last eight contests, and O'Toole (10.5 pts, 9.2 reb) is shooting 59.1 percent and leads the conference in rebounding.
• The Green and White ranks first in conference play in scoring defense (62.8 points), forced turnovers (14.4) and offensive rebounds per game (12.2).
SCOUTING THE PRIDE
• Springfield (8-13, 6-6 NEWMAC) suffered a 66-54 loss to WPI snapping its two-game winning streak on Wednesday night.
• Campbell provided 10 points and three assists and Ajay Lpes came off the bench to score nine points to lead a balanced attack for the Pride, which was tied at 44 before making just two field goals over the final 11 minutes of the contest.
• Hartley (10.4 pts, 6.1 reb, 1.7 blocks) leads the NEWMAC in blocks and is shooting a league-best 59.6 percent from the floor, Evely (10.3 pts, 4.8 reb, 1.6 stl) has scored in double figures in six of the last eight games and Campbell (9.1 pts, 3.1 reb) is averaging 13.8 points on 66.7 percent shooting.
• Springfield is shooting 57.3 percent on two-point field goal attempts in NEWMAC play and ranks second in field goal defense holding opponents to 42.3 percent shooting.
MULVEY EARNS CONFERENCE RECOGNITION
• Thanks to his 32-point effort in Saturday's win at Clark, Mulvey was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday.
• He scored 17 first-half points and went 6-of-6 at the free throw line on the way to surpassing his previous career high of 31 points against Saint Joseph (Conn.) back on November 30.
THREE AT A TIME
• Mulvey (67) and Ferdinando (62) are just the second Babson to duo to make at least 60 three-pointers in a season joining the twosome of Nick Comenale '18 and current associate head coach
Joey Flannery '17, who finished with 110 and 78 triples in the Beavers' national championship season of 2016-17.
• Mulvey ranks fourth in Division III in three-pointers per game (3.35), fifth in total three-pointers and 14th in three-point percentage (43.2), while Ferdinando is seventh in three-point percentage (45.3) and 15th in both three-pointers per game (3.10) and total trifectas.
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARDS
• After matching his season high with seven offensive boards in Wednesday's victory, O'Toole now has a career-high 82 offensive rebounds this winter, which ranks second behind the 84 pulled down by Isaiah Nelsen '17 in 2015-16 over the last 26 seasons.
• O'Toole ranks ninth in program history with 697 total rebounds and his 294 offensive boards are the most by any Babson player since the statistic started being tracked during the 1999-2000 season.
TALE OF TWO HALVES
• The Green and White suffered through arguably its worst offensive stretch of the season in the first half of its January 13 game at Springfield going just 5-of-27 (18.5 percent) from the floor and committing eight turnovers while falling behind 36-19.
• The Beavers shot 50 percent (18-of-36) in the second half and overtime and held the Pride to just one field goal over the final six minutes of regulation while erasing a seven-point deficit with under five minutes to play.
TRENDS TO WATCH
• Senior
Tyler Lauder scored a season-high 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting in Wednesday's win over Coast Guard, and ranks third in NEWMAC play in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.40) and sixth in blocked shots with 11 in 11 outings.
• O'Toole leads the team with six double-doubles and has finished with 10 or more points and rebounds in four of the last six games.
• Sophomore
Ryan Frauenheim played a season-high 27 minutes in Wednesday's victory over Coast Guard contributing seven points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists, and has committed just four turnovers over the last seven games.
• Murphy, who played a season-high 40 minutes in the win at Springfield last month, has scored in double figures five times this winter and is shooting 92.6 percent (25-of-27) at the free throw line.
• Babson has committed 12 turnovers or fewer in 10 straight outings for the first time since the 2013-14 campaign when it went 11 consecutive games recording 12 turnovers or less.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 12-1 this winter when shooting 44 percent or better from the field.
• Babson is 11-0 this winter and has won 22 of 24 games over the last two seasons when outrebounding its opponents.
