Timmy O'Toole led three players in double figures with 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting in just 12 minutes of action as Babson defeated Coast Guard 89-41 on January 10 in New London, Conn.

Thomas Ferdinando added 13 points, four dimes and three steals for the Beavers, who shot 50 percent from the floor and held a 48-26 rebounding edge in addition to scoring 25 points off 17 turnovers by the Bears.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (13-6, 7-3 NEWMAC) has won seven of its last eight games and is coming off a 73-62 victory at Clark on Saturday afternoon.

Timmy Mulvey scored a career-high 32 points, Ferdinando contributed 16 points and four steals, and O'Toole added 12 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots for the Beavers, who shot 45.6 percent from the floor and never trailed in the win.
• Ferdinando (15.7 pts, 3.8 reb, 2.6 ast) ranks seventh in the league in scoring and is second in three-point shooting at 46.2 percent, Mulvey (15.0 pts, 2.7 ast) has scored in double figures in seven consecutive games and ranks second din the league with 62 three-pointers, and O'Toole (10.4 pts, 9.1 reb, 1.5 steals) leads the NEWMAC in rebounding and is shooting 59.6 percent from the floor.
• The Green and White ranks first in conference play in scoring defense allowing 62.8 points, assist-to-turnover ratio (1.83) and forced turnovers (13.9).
SCOUTING THE BEARS
• Coast Guard (6-13, 2-9 NEWMAC) has dropped back-to-back games after suffering a 93-81 loss to Springfield on Saturday.
• Farrell scored 30 points to surpass 1,000 for his career, Trevor Parks provided 18 points and six rebounds, and Parent added 14 points for the Bears, who made a season-high 25 free throws and shot 45.5 percent (10-of-22) from beyond the arc but were outscored 21-5 to start the second half after trailing by just one at the break.
• Farrell (17.5 pts, 8.5 reb, 1.3 blocks) ranks second in the conference in rebounding, third in scoring and fourth in blocked shots, Parent (11.7 pts, 2.4 ast) has scored in double figures in seven of the last nine games and Trevor Parks (11.8 pts, 4.2 reb) has drained a NEWMAC-best 66 three-pointers this winter.
• Coast Guard is third in league play in three-pointers per game (9.5) but has allowed 83.6 points in 11 games versus NEWMAC foes.
MULVEY EARNS CONFERENCE RECOGNITION
• Thanks to his 32-point effort in Saturday's win at Clark, Mulvey was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday.
• He scored 17 first-half points and went 6-of-6 at the free throw line on the way to surpassing his previous career high of 31 points against Saint Joseph (Conn.) back on November 30.
THREE AT A TIME
• Mulvey (62) and Ferdinando (60) are just the second Babson to duo to make at least 60 three-pointers in a season joining the twosome of Nick Comenale '18 and current associate head coach
Joey Flannery '17, who finished with 110 and 78 triples in the Beavers' national championship season of 2016-17.
• Mulvey ranks sixth in Division III in three-pointers per game (3.26), ninth in total three-pointers and 18th in three-point percentage (43.4), while Ferdinando is seventh in three-point percentage (46.2), 11th in three-pointers per game (3.16) and 15th in total trifectas.
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARDS
• After grabbing five in Saturday's win, O'Toole now has a career-high 75 offensive rebounds this winter, which ranks second behind the 84 pulled down by Isaiah Nelsen '17 in 2015-16 over the last 26 seasons.
• O'Toole ranks ninth in program history with 685 total rebounds and his 287 offensive boards are the most by any Babson player since the statistic started being tracked during the 1999-2000 season.
TRENDS TO WATCH
• In addition to combining for 48 points on Saturday at Clark, Mulvey and Ferdinando handed out five assists and committed just two turnovers while playing a combined 77 of 80 total minutes.

Tyler Lauder ranks second in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.30), fifth in blocked shots per game (1.1) and sixth in assists (3.3) over his first 10 NEWMAC games.
• In 100 minutes of action over the last six contests, sophomore
Ryan Frauenheim has handed out 14 assists while committing just one turnover.
• Ferdinando has scored in double figures in 10 straight games and has connected on multiple three-pointers nine times during this stretch.
• O'Toole leads the team with five double-doubles and has finished with 10 or more points and rebounds in three of the last five games.
• Babson has committed 12 turnovers or fewer in nine straight outings for the first time since the 2013-14 campaign when it went 11 consecutive games recording 12 turnovers or less.
