SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Wheaton (5-19, 1-9 NEWMAC) has dropped its last six games after suffering a 71-54 loss at Coast Guard on Wednesday night.
• Keyter finished with 23 points, nine rebounds and four blocks, while Cheyenne Colbert added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Lyons, who shot just 32.8 percent from the field and committed 20 turnovers.
• Colbert (13.6 pts, 6.1 reb, 2.0 ast) ranks seventh in the league in scoring has reached double figures in seven of 10 NEWMAC games, Keyer (12.4 pts, 7.8 reb) has four double-doubles and has attempted 11 or more shots in six of the last seven contests, and Darlene Tashobya (4.9 pts, 4.2 reb) has grabbed at least eight rebounds in four straight outings.
• Wheaton is holding NEWMAC foes to 39.3 percent shooting but has been held below 60 points eight times in league play.
NEWMAC TOURNAMENT IMPLICATIONS
• The Beavers enter the final day of the regular season in a three-way tie for second place with Clark and MIT and can secure the number two seed in next week's conference tournament with a victory over the Lyons.
• Regardless of Saturday's outcome, Babson has secured a top-four seed and will host a NEWMAC quarterfinal next Wednesday.
FLYNN NAMED NEWMAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
• After averaging 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from beyond the arc,
Emily Flynn was tabbed as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• She knocked down seven three-pointers and scored a career-high 34 points, the most by a Babson player since Emily Bonifacic '20 put up 38 points in the 2019-20 season opener, in last Wednesday's win over Salve Regina before leading three players in double figures in the victory at Clark.
FEBRUARY IN FOCUS
• Despite having its 13-game regular season winning streak snapped by Smith, Babson is 16-5 in the month of February under third-year head coach
Kate Barnosky dating back to 2024.
• The Beavers have held their opponents below 60 points in 10 of their last 14 games in February and are 9-1 on the road, which includes six consecutive victories going back to last season.
THREE AT A TIME
• For the first time in program history, Babson has three players with at least 35 three-pointers this winter.
• Rosenberg (48) and Flynn (46) and rank fourth and fifth in the NEWMAC, respectively, while Perreault's career-high 36 triples are good for 13th in the league.
• Flynn also ranks fifth in Babson history with 114 career three-pointers, while Perreault is 13th on the program's all-time list with 69 trifectas.

• Hopps matched her season high with nine boards in the loss to Smith and is averaging 10.7 points 56 percent shooting over the last three games.

• The Beavers have six players averaging at least 6.0 points in league play and have had five different players lead the team in scoring over their last eight contests.
