SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 40-19 all-time against Smith in a series that dates back to the 1982-83 campaign.

SCOUTING THE BEARS

• Virginia Johnson scored 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and Ella Sylvester added 10 points, six boards and two steals for the Bears, who built a 30-17 halftime lead and scored 27 points off 23 turnovers by the Engineers.
• Johnson (12.2 pts, 6.6 reb, 1.8 stl) ranks second in the NEWMAC with 58 three-pointers and third shooting 44.3 percent from beyond the arc, Felicia Fongemie (10.0 pts, 48.3 FG pct) has scored in double figures in two of the last three games and Martin (9.4 pts, 4.6 reb, 2.9 ast) has dished out four or more assists in four of the last six contests.
• Smith ranks first in Division III in field goal percentage (47.1), seventh in rebounding margin (+12.0) and eighth in field goal defense holding its foes to just 32 percent on the year.
WHAT'S AT STAKE
• After taking over sole possession of second place with Saturday's win at Clark, the Beavers would move into a first-place tie and have the inside track for the top seed in next week's NEWMAC Tournament with a victory on Wednesday.
• Babson, which is seeking at least a share of its first conference regular season title since 2019-20, would need to beat both Smith and Wheaton to accomplish the feat, while the Bears have won 34 straight games in NEWMAC play and can secure their fifth consecutive regular season league title with a victory on Wednesday.
FLYNN NAMED NEWMAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
• After averaging 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from beyond the arc,
Emily Flynn was tabbed as the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• She knocked down seven three-pointers and scored a career-high 34 points, the most by a Babson player since Emily Bonifacic '20 put up 38 points in the 2019-20 season opener, in last Wednesday's win over Salve Regina before leading three players in double figures in the victory at Clark.

Kate Barnosky, the Beavers are 16-4 in the month of February.
• Babson has won 13 consecutive regular season games in February going back to 2024 while holding its opponents below 60 points 10 times during this unbeaten run.
• During the 13-game winning streak, the Green and White has won seven games by double digits and is 4-0 in contests decided by five points or less.
THREE GOGGLES
• For the first time in program history, Babson has three players with at least 30 three-pointers this winter.

Emily Flynn (46) and Rosenberg (43) rank fourth and fifth in the NEWMAC, respectively, while Perreault's career-high 35 triples has her tied for 12th in the league.

• Sophomore
Julia St. Laurent has scored in double figures in seven of her last nine starts, which includes a career-high 16 points on February 4 at Emerson, and is averaging 9.4 points and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 51.7 percent in eight NEWMAC games.
• Hopps has scored 12 points in each of Babson's last two games while shooting 61.1 percent from the floor.
• Perreault, who has scored in double figures in four of the last five games, set a new season high with 12 rebounds the Beavers' February 7 victory over Wellesley and has recorded double-doubles in two of the last three contests.
• Carlo, who leads the team in minutes per game (29.2), is averaging 9.5 points and shooting 40 percent (6-of-15) from three-point range over the last four games.
