BRUNSWICK, Maine—The trio of junior
Sarai Dorismond (Carlsbad, Calif.) and sophomores
Elizabeth Shu (Sugar Land, Texas) and
Sandra Sikharulidze (Kyiv, Uktraine) saw their run at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) New England Championships come to and in the semifinals on Sunday morning.
The top-seeded tandem of Shu and Sikharulidze dropped an 8-5 decision to the sixth-seeded pairing of Caroline Stuhlfaut and Zoe Sun of Bowdoin. Dorismond won the opening set of her B draw singles semifinal but was defeated 5-7, 6-2, 10-4 by Naomi Williams of Bowdoin.
Babson head back to Brunswick, Maine, to conclude the fall portion of its schedule at the Bowdoin Invitational beginning next Friday.
