SERIES HISTORY
vs. Plymouth State
• Babson leads Plymouth State 7-2-1 in the all-time series that dates back to the 2002-03 season.
• The Beavers are 6-1-1 against the Panthers since 2015, although seven of the eight games were decided by one goal or ended in a tie.
• The Beavers have won the last four meetings inside the Babson Skating Center and are 5-1 all-time against PSU in Babson Park.
vs. New England College
• Babson is 51-25-8 all-time against New England College in a series that dates back to 1977.
• The Beavers have captured the last five regular season games and 11 of the last 13 before the Pilgrims pulled off the upset in last year's New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) tournament quarterfinals in March inside the Babson Skating Center.

Ethan Stuckless '25 and Donte' Diponio '25 produced two assists each, senior Rider McCallum and juniors Eddie Mulligan and Patrick McConnell chipped in with one helper each, and junior Connor Strobel made 35 saves in goal in the setback.
vs. New England College
• Junior Gunnar Sibley broke a scoreless tie with a goal midway though the second period and sixth-seeded New England College went on to defeat third-seeded Babson, 2-0, in an NEHC tournament quarterfinal on March 1, 2025 inside the Babson Skating Center.
• Senior goalie
Nate Mueller made 25 saves in the Babson goal but took the loss. The Beavers managed 31 shots on goal but were stymied by sophomore Anthony Beaulieu, who registered his third shutout of the season with the 31-save effort.
• Ike Taraszewski '25 added an empty-net goal for the Pilgrims and sophomore Vesse-Wincent Lampen and Zach Nelson M'25 collected assists in the win.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 7 Babson (9-1-2, 4-0-1 LEC) is riding a four-game unbeaten streak after claiming the championship of the Oswego State Holiday Classic last weekend with wins over Elmira (8-4) and Williams (4-2).
• Driscoll (2g, 3a) was named tournament Most Valuable Player while Mueller (32 saves) and fellow senior

• Fallon (9-10-19) leads the Little East in points and ranks second in goals and fourth in assists; Brown (4-12-16) tops the league in assists and ranks third in points; and Andriole (6-5-11) is sixth in the LEC in goals and most among defensemen. Senior
Will Holland (+19), Andriole (+17) and Brown (+13) rank 1-2-3 in the conference in plus/minus.
• Mueller (1.81 GAA, .923 sv. pct.) is 7-0-2 in nine starts in goal and tops the LEC in goals against average and ranks second in save percentage.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
• Plymouth State (8-5-0, 5-1-0 LEC) is coming off a 5-3 non-conference win over Skidmore last Saturday at Hanaway Rink following a 7-3 setback on Friday to No. 5 Hamilton.
• Five different Panthers scored and 11 picked up a point in the win over the Thoroughbreds. Pray, sophomore Luca Rea and Redick gave the Panthers a 3-0 lead midway through the second period and seniors Byron Hartley and Payton Schaly added goals in the final minute of the second and third frames, respectively. Senior Brandon Shantz made 35 saves in goal in the win.
• Redick (8-9-17) is in the top six in the LEC in goals, assists and points, first-year Etienne Tremblay-Mathieu (5-11-16) is third in the league in assists and points, and senior Brendan Doyle (6-7-13), Schaly (5-8-13), and junior Severi Sulonen (1-12-13) are tied for sixth in points.
• Strobel (3.24 GAA, .886 sv. pct.) is 4-3-0 in seven starts and Shantz (3.14 GAA, .902 sv. pct.) is 4-2-0 in six starts between the pipes.
SCOUTING THE PILGRIMS
• New England College (3-9-0, 2-4-0 LEC), which will play Friday night at Southern Maine, will be out to snap a five-game losing skid after non-conference shutout losses last weekend vs. Manhattanville (5-0) and Middlebury (4-0).
• Beaulieu made 30 saves in 55 minutes in the setback against Manhattanville and senior Danny Miscavish made 16 of his 28 saves against Middlebury in the third period. The Pilgrims outshot the Valiants, 38-37, but were outshot by the Panthers, 32-16.
• Sophomore Egor Osipik (3-7-10) leads the Pilgrims in scoring while junior Jack Herron (5-2-7) tops the squad in goals. First-year Matteo Viglino (1-6-7) is second on the team in both assists and points, and Herron and Sibley each have a pair of power play goals.
• Beaulieu (3.63 GAA, .895 sv. pct.) has started nine of the Pilgrims' 12 games while Miscavish (2 starts) and sophomore Vladimir Maksimov (1 start) serve as back-ups.
LEC WEEEKLY HONORS
• Driscoll and Mueller earned Little East Conference (LEC) weekly honors on Monday as Driscoll was tabbed Player of the Week and Mueller was named Goaltender of the Week for the third time this season.
• Driscoll produced two goals and three assists for five points and was selected as the tournament most valuable player at the Oswego State Holiday Classic title, while Mueller was named to the All-Tournament team after going 2-0 with a 1.80 goals against average and stopped 32 of 35 shots for a .914 save percentage.
• Mueller also received the LEC goalie honor on November 3 and December 1.
COMFORTS OF HOME
• After ending 2025 with a six-game homestand the produced a 3-1-2 record, Babson is 4-1-2 on home ice this season.
• Five of the seven games this season have been decided by one goal or ended in a tie, and one was a two-goal decision.
• The Green and White are 12-5-3 at the Babson Skating Center since the start of last season and 20-7-5 on home ice going back to the opening of the 2023-24 season.
LOOKING AT THE LITTLE EAST
• Plymouth State (5-1-0) has the early lead in the Little East standings with 15 points while Babson (4-0-1) and Norwich (4-2-0) are tied for second with 13 points and Southern Maine is fourth with 11 points.
• Vermont State Castleton (3-3-0) is fifth with 8 points, followed by UMass Boston (2-2-0) and New England College (2-4-0) with 6 points each.
• Teams are awarded three points for a win in regulation, two points for an overtime or shootout win, and one point for an overtime or shootout loss.
CHECKING THE DIVISION III POLL
• After making its first appearance since 2023 in the USCHO.com Division III poll in November, the Beavers have moved up to a season-best No. 7 in this week's poll.
• The Green and White are tied with the University of New England as the top teams in New England, while Bowdoin and Curry are deadlocked at No. 9, Endicott is No. 11 and Salve Regina is No. 14.
BEAVERS VS. THE VISITORS
• Schmitt (2-2-4) is Babson's leading active scorer against Plymouth State with four points in three games, while Driscoll (1-2-3), Murphy (1-2-3) and Kennedy (1-2-3) have three points apiece.
• Kennedy (4-1-5) and Driscoll (3-2-5) have five points each in seven games against NEC while Fallon (1-3-4) has four points in five contests and Dion (1-2-3, 5 gms) and Murphy (0-3-3, 7 gms) have three points each.

• The Green and White are ranked 15th in Division III in scoring offense (3.92 goals per game) and 16th in scoring defense (2.25 goals allowed per game).
