BABSON PARK, Mass.—After finishing runner-up in the regular season and post-season tournament of the inaugural Little East Conference (LEC) men's ice hockey campaign last winter, Babson College's Boxer-Rice head men's ice hockey coach Jamie Rice '90 officially released his program's 2026-27 schedule on Tuesday afternoon.

The Beavers will play 18 LEC games along with seven non-conference affairs, including a pair of games against teams that have competed in the NCAA Division III Tournament over the past two years.

The Green and White drop the puck on the upcoming season with three straight home games at the Babson Skating Center, beginning with long-time rival Saint Michael's on October 31. The LEC slate gets underway at home with contests against Keene State on November 6 and Western Connecticut on November 7.

The next six games will be played on the road starting with conference clashes at defending champion Norwich on November 13, Vermont State Castleton on November 14, and Southern Maine on November 21. Then it's a trio of games vs. teams from the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) during Thanksgiving week, including Tufts on November 24, defending champion and NCAA Tournament team Williams on November 28 and Amherst on November 29.

After a home encounter against Curry, an NCAA Tournament team in 2025, to wrap up the first semester on December 5, and a break for final exams and the holidays, Babson will begin 2027 with a pair of home games against Lebanon Valley on January 1-2.

The final 13 contests of the regular season are comprised of conference games, beginning with road encounters at Plymouth State and New England College on January 8 and 9. The Beavers will play at UMass Dartmouth on January 15 before hosting UMass Dartmouth on January 16, travel to Western Connecticut and Keene State on January 22 and 23, and wrap up the month at the Babson Skating Center against Southern Maine on January 30.

Five of the final six regular season contests will be home games as the Beavers host Castleton and Norwich on February 5-6, UMass Dartmouth on February 13, and New England College and Plymouth State on February 19-20. The lone road game in that stretch is at UMass Boston on February 12.

The LEC Tournament begins with the first-round games on February 24, with semifinals matchups on February 27 and the championship game on March 6. The conference champion receives an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.

The Beavers finished last season with a 20-5-2 overall record and finished second in the LEC with a 14-3-1 conference mark. The Green and White blanked Plymouth State 4-0 in the conference tournament semifinals before falling to Norwich in the title game, 4-1.
