PROVIDENCE, R.I.—The Babson College men's ice hockey program had eight student-athletes recognized for their hard work and success in the classroom when the Little East Conference (LEC) announced its 2025-26 Academic All-Conference team on Friday morning.

Charlie Andriole (Branford, Conn.),
Danny Cavanagh (Warwick, R.I.),
Will Holland (Charlotte, N.C.),
Brendan Kennedy (Georgetown, Ontario),
Nate Mueller (Rogers, Minn.),
Ryan Murphy (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.) and
Egan Schmitt (Schuylerville, N.Y.) all garnered conference All-Academic honors for the third year in a row, and junior
Mason Rosado (Weddington, N.C.) was recognized for the second time in his career.
To be named to the LEC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore standing in the classroom, have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been at their current institution for at least one full academic year.
An accounting major, Schmitt (8-16-24) played in all 27 games and finished third on the team in scoring. A business major, Andriole (8-10-18) skated in all 27 games and was among the national leaders in scoring by a defenseman and finished second in the LEC in plus/minus (+30). Kennedy (8-10-18), an accounting major, and Murphy (5-13-18), an economics and sport major, joined Andriole as three of four players who tied for fourth on the team in scoring while playing in every game.
Holland (2-14-16), a business major, finished fourth on the team in assists as a defenseman and second in the LEC in plus/minus (+29), and Cavanagh (3-11-14), a business major, finished sixth on the team in assists as two of 14 players who saw action in all 27 games.
Mueller, an analytics major, and Rosado, a business major, gave the Beavers a solid duo between the pipes. Mueller was 15-4-2 with a 1.88 goals against average and a .925 save percentage in 21 starts, while Rosado finished 5-1 with a 2.17 GAA and a .914 save percentage in six starts in the crease.
The 14th-ranked Beavers finished with a 20-5-2 overall record and the second seed in the inaugural LEC tournament with a 14-3-2 regular season conference record.
