Egan Schmitt tallied a goal and an assist and Brown picked up three assists as Babson skated past Keene State, 4-1, in the inaugural Little East Conference (LEC) game on November 7, 2025, inside Keene ICE.

Nate Mueller earned the win in goal with 16 saves for the Green and White.
• First-year Zack Chouinard scored the lone goal for the Owls with assists from senior Declan House and sophomore Sean Gray. Sophomore Ben Skelton finished with 57 saves in goal for the Owls.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 9 Babson (12-2-2, 7-1-1 LEC) has won five of six games this month after sweeping UMass Dartmouth (4-1) and UMass Boston (5-4, OT) in LEC road games last weekend.
• Brown tallied a goal and two assists in the win over UMB, including a helper on a game-tying goal with 1:01 remaining in regulation and scoring the game-winner in overtime. Andriole, Driscoll, Schmitt and Senier all scored for the Beavers, Kennedy recorded two assists, and Mueller made 23 saves in goal.
• Brown (6-16-22) has points in all six games this month and tops the league in assists and points. Fallon (9-12-21) has a goal and six assists in his last six outings and is tied for second in the LEC in scoring, and Andriole (8-6-14) is third on the team and tied for sixth in the LEC in goals, most among defensemen. Holland (+23) and Andriole (+20) rank 1-2 in the conference in plus/minus and Brown (+15) is fourth.
• Mueller (1.87 GAA, .927 sv. pct.) is 10-1-2 in 13 starts in goal and tops the LEC in goals against average and ranks third in save percentage. Junior
Mason Rosado (2.67 GAA, .881 sv. pct.) is 2-1 in three starts with one shutout.
SCOUTING THE WOLVES
• WestConn (1-15-0, 0-9-0 LEC), which earned its only win over Roger Williams (1-0) back in November, has dropped seven in a row since then, including a pair of conference losses at Castleton (6-2) and Norwich (8-2) last weekend.
• Sophomore Luca Maiuri notched a short-handed marker, first-year Camden Carver scored a late goal and first-year Dylan Dewachter made 55 saves in the loss to Norwich. First-year Quentin McElligott potted a short-hander and sophomore Blake Alexander added a third period goal in the setback to Castleton, while Hedlund (27) and Dewachter (17) combined for 44 stops.
• First-year Tyler Gobel (3-6-9) tops the team in goals and points while classmate Scott McNulty (5-2-7) leads the way in goals and power play goals (2). First-year Francis Rose (2-5-7) and sophomore Phil Parker (3-2-5) are also offensive threats for the Wolves.
• WestConn has rotated three goalies between the pipes, with Lane (4.07 GAA, .889 sv. pct.) starting eight games, Hedlund (6.21, .860) starting five, and Dewachter (5.73, .862) getting the nod three times.
SCOUTING THE OWLS
• Keene State (5-10-0, 1-8-0 LEC), which will play Friday at Southern Maine, goes into the weekend on a six-game losing streak after losses last Friday at Norwich (3-1) and Saturday at Castleton (6-0).
• Sophomore Joe Fontaine scored the lone goal on the weekend for the Owls, a second-period power play marker from Chouinard and sophomore Thor Hansen on Friday at Norwich. Junior Ethan Swanson finished with 45 saves in goal against Norwich and first-year Jari Stacher and Skelton combined for 33 stops at Castleton.
• Hansen (6-6-12), Chouinard (5-7-12) and junior Marcus Chrisafideis (5-7-12) share the team scoring lead, with Hansen the top goal scorer and the other two leading the way in assists. Sophomores Chase Carney (5-6-11), Sean Hoffman (3-6-9) and Peter Unger (3-6-9) are also key forwards for the Owls.
• Skelton (3.80 GAA, .898 sv. pct.) has three wins in nine starts, first-year Cameron Reardon (5.39 GAA, .831 sv. pct.) has three starts, and Stacher (6.21 GAA, .885 sv. pct.) had gotten the starting nod twice in the last five games.
LITTLE EAST WEEEKLY HONOR
• Brown became the third Babson forward this season to earn LEC Player of the Week recognition when he received the honor on Monday.
• Brown put together a four-point weekend with a pair of game-winning goals and two assists. He scored the go-ahead goal at 7:52 of the third period in a 4-1 victory at UMass Dartmouth and followed it up with an assist on the tying goal at 18:59 of the third period and the game-winning tally with 50 seconds left in OT in the 5-4 triumph at UMass Boston.
• Driscoll also received the honor on January 5 and Fallon on November 17, while Mueller has been recognized as Goalie of the Week three times (Nov. 3, Dec. 1, Jan. 5).
COMFORTS OF HOME
• Babson is 5-2-2 at the Babson Skating Center this season.
• Six of the nine games have been decided by one goal or ended in a tie, and one was a two-goal decision.
• The Green and White are 13-6-3 at home since the start of last season and 21-8-5 on home ice over the last three seasons.
HALFWAY HOME IN THE LITTLE EAST
• With the Little East Conference slate roughly halfway through the schedule, Norwich (7-2-0) sits atop the standings with 22 points, while Babson (7-1-1) is second with 21 points and Southern Maine (6-2-1) a surprise third with 20 points.
• The middle of the group includes UMass Boston (5-3-0, 16 pts), Plymouth State (5-4-0, 15 points), and Vermont State Castleton (5-4-0, 14 points), while the last two playoff spots are currently held by New England College (4-5-0, 12 points) and UMass Dartmouth (3-5-0, 9 points).
NCAA RANKINGS
• Babson is ranked 12th in Division III in scoring defense (2.19 goals allowed per game) and 20th in Division III in scoring offense (3.81 goals per game).
• The Beavers are 32nd in Division III with a 21.7 power play percentage and 37th in penalty kill percentage at 82.5.
• Brown is fifth in Division III in assists per game (1.00) and 18th in points per game (1.38) while Fallon is 26th in points per game (1.31) and 38th in goals per game (0.56).
• Mueller is 13th in Division III with a 1.87 goals against average and seventh in goalie winning percentage (.846).
