SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 40-11 all-time against Coast Guard in a series that dates back to the 1982-83 campaign.
• The Beavers had their 11-game winning streak in the series snapped in a home loss to the Bears last season.

LAST MEETING
• Dorothy Stotts finished with 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds, and Coast Guard rallied from a 13-point deficit late in the second quarter to defeat the Beavers, 67-62, on January 27, 2025, in Babson Park.
• Julia Mann also scored 15 points, Glory Blethen provided 13 and Kelly Hagerty added 12 points, eight rebounds and six blocked shots for the Bears, who withstood a 32-point second-quarter barrage by holding Babson to just one point over the final 12 minutes of the contest.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (9-6, 1-0 NEWMAC) has won five of its last seven games after pulling out a 64-63 thriller over Springfield in its conference opener on Saturday afternoon.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
• Coast Guard (8-7, 0-1 NEWMAC) has split its last four games but opened conference play with a 76-48 loss to No. 4/3 Smith on Saturday.
• Ruby Miller came off the bench to score 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting and Colleen Finnegan provided 10 points and seven rebounds for the Bears, who shot just 32.8 percent and trailed 29-6 after the first quarter.
• Stotts (18.5 pts, 4.4 reb, 3.0 ast) ranks third in the NEWMAC in scoring and is first in the league with 36 three-pointers, Olivia Wright (14.1 pts, 5.6 reb) is shooting 44.6 percent and has scored in double figures in eight of the last nine contests, and Taylor Lynch (6.1 pts, 3.8 reb, 4.0 ast) is tied for third in the conference in assists.
• Coast Guard is third in the conference in scoring offense averaging 68.7 points but has been limited to just 57.3 points in its seven losses.
ROSENBERG GARNERS NEWMAC WEEKLY HONOR
• After recording six steals, which includes a career-high four in last Tuesday's 61-55 loss to Trinity, Rosenberg was selected as the NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• She also chased down a career-high seven rebounds against the Bantams before contributing three rebounds and two steals in Saturday's triumph over Springfield.
COMING THROUGH IN THE CLUTCH
• Babson is 4-1 this season in games decided by six points or less and three of its last four victories since December 29 have come by two points or fewer.

Allessia Carlo made late free throws to help seal a 72-70 triumph over UC Santa Cruz on December 30 before Flynn's late heroics on Saturday.
REVISITING THE PRESEASON POLL
• After finishing second last winter, the Beavers were picked to come in second behind defending Division III runner-up Smith when the NEWMAC released its preseason coaches' poll back in mid-October.
• The Green and White totaled 104 points to finish ahead of third-place Emerson (93) and fourth-place Springfield (83) in the poll.
• Babson's next two opponents, Coast Guard and MIT, tied for fifth in the preseason poll with 75 points.
BEAVER BITES
• St. Laurent has scored in double figures in four of the last five games and is averaging 11.2 points and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 57.5 percent during this stretch.
• Mendoza matched her season high with four assists in Saturday's victory and is averaging 10.0 points and 2.5 assists over the last two contests.
• Flynn has made at least two three-pointers in each of her last five outings and has connected on a triple in 16 straight games going back to last February.
• Carlo, who has played at least 30 minutes in three straight games, went 2-of-3 from three-point range and matched her season high with eight points against Springfield.

• The Beavers have won eight straight regular season games against NEWMAC foes, which includes five straight road victories.
