Niko Leunig (Evergreen, Colo.) recorded his second victory of the season and the Babson College men's alpine ski team posted five of the top nine times on the way to finishing first in the slalom at Proctor Ski Area on Saturday.
The Beavers, who won their 14th consecutive MacConnell Division race, finished nearly seven second ahead of second-place Clarkson. Castleton came in third just over four seconds behind the Golden Knights.
Leunig, who won the giant slalom at Sunday River on Tuesday, completed two runs in a time of 1:26.53 to finish 0.08 seconds ahead of Sondre Skaret Andersen of Castleton. Sophomore
James Rosenbloom (Stowe, Vt.) placed third in a time of 1:27.52, senior
Elliot Perretta (Annecy, France) was fourth with a time of 1:27.86 and first-year
Asher Baron (South Londonderry, Vt.) was just 0.16 seconds behind him in sixth place.

Ben Hostetter (Osterville, Mass.) came in ninth with a time of 1:29.91, while first-year
Nicholas Heinrich (East Burke, Vt.) placed 11th in a time of 1:30.40. Senior
Sebastian Sheppard (Park City, Utah) was less than a second behind Heinrich in 13th position after finishing with a time of 1:31.06, while senior
Finn Horsley (Salt Lake City, Utah) took 18th overall with a time of 1:33:25.
Babson returns to action next Saturday and Sunday when it travels to Lake Placid, N.Y., to compete in the giant slalom at Whiteface Mountain.
