SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (9-5, 3-2 NEWMAC) has won three straight games and is coming off a 73-55 victory over Wheaton on Thursday night.

Timmy Mulvey tied the program's single-game record with eight three-pointers on the way to scoring 24 points and first-year
Thomas Ferdinando added 12 points, five assists and four rebounds for the Beavers, who built a 10-point halftime lead and shot 52.7 percent on the night.
• Ferdinando (15.2 pts, 3.9 reb, 2.7 ast) has scored in double figures in four straight games and is shooting 48.9 percent from three-point range, Mulvey (14.4 pts, 2.9 ast) has knocked down 13 triples over the last three contests and O'Toole (9.7 pts, 8.9 reb) leads the conference in rebounding.
• The Green and White is averaging 75.4 points and 1.08 points per possession in addition to ranking 19th nationally in three-point field goal percentage (37.6).
SCOUTING THE LIONS
• Emerson (7-7, 3-2 NEWMAC) has dropped four of its last five games after suffering an 82-63 loss to Clark on Thursday night.
• Helmhold finished 9-of-9 at the free throw line and scored a team-high 15 points, while Guillermo Gasset Ruiz added 12 points for the Lions, who were outscored 48-24 in the paint and shot just 37.5 percent from the field against the Cougars.
• Helmhold (13.9 pts, 6.9 reb) has posted two double-doubles and has attempted 39 free throws over the last four games, Jacob Armant (12.3 pts, 3.9 reb, 3.4 ast) has scored in double figures nine times and leads the team in assists, and Gasset Ruiz (8.1 pts, 4.1 reb, 2.2 ast) is first on the squad in steals and has made at least one three-pointer in four straight outings.
• Emerson, which is 5-1 on the road this season, is averaging 74.1 points and ranks seventh in Division III in three-point field goal percentage (39.0).
SUPPORTING AFTD
• For the fourth season in a row, the Babson men's basketball program has partnered with
Spencer Cline M'22 to raise money and awareness for The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD).
• Cline, who lost his father to FTD in 2012, has raised more than $23,000 over the past three years.
• FTD is the most common form of dementia for people under the age of 60. It strikes in the prime of life, gradually eroding an individual's personality: their ability to speak, make sound decisions, control their movements, behave within social norms and relate to those they love.
• In addition to online donations, Saturday's contest will also feature cash raffle with a chance to win two tickets to the Boston Celtics game versus the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, April 10.

• Following Tuesday's career-high 20-rebound performance at Springfield, O'Toole contributed six points, seven rebounds, four steals, two blocked shots and a career-high six assists in Thursday's win over Wheaton.

• Mulvey's eight three-pointers are the most by any Babson player since 2016 and matched the single-game school record set by Phil Riffe '05, Matthew Palazini '14 and Nick Comenale '18.
• Riffe went 8-of-14 in a loss to Bowdoin on January 10, 2004, Palazini also went 8-of-14 in a January 24, 2012, loss to Bowdoin, and Comenale finished 8-of-15 as the Beavers routed Becker on November 22, 2016.
DIALING UP THE DEFENSE
• During its current three-game winning streak, Babson has held opponents to just 54.0 points on 36.2 percent shooting.
• The Green and White is allowing just 0.80 points per possession during this three-game stretch and has turned 41 turnovers by its opponents into 60 points.
• The Beavers also own a +7.3 rebounding margin and have given up just 25 second-chance points to their foes.
TRENDS TO WATCH
• O'Toole ranks 20th in Division III in offensive rebounds per game and has pulled down four or more in nine of the Beavers' first 14 games.
• Ferdinando ranks fifth in Division III in three-point field goal percentage (48.9) and seventh in three-pointers per game (3.29).

Logan Murphy has reached double figures in scoring in back-to-back games and in six starts this winter is averaging 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.8 steals while shooting 44.8 percent from beyond the arc.
