Niko Leunig (Evergreen, Colo.) and senior
Elliot Perretta (Annecy, France) claimed the top two spots on the podium and the Babson College men's alpine ski team accounted for four of the top six times to win the giant slalom at Sunday River Resort on Tuesday afternoon.
The Beavers' top three finishers were 9.57 seconds ahead of second-place Clarkson, while Castleton and UConn placed third and fourth, respectively. Babson extended its streak of 12 straight MacConnell Division wins dating back to the start of last season.
Leunig had the fastest first-run time on the way to claiming his first collegiate victory with a time of 2:14.23, while Perretta posted the best second-run time to finish as the runner-up for the second day in a row with a time of 2:15.12. Sophomore
James Rosenbloom (Stowe, Vt.) was less than two seconds behind Perretta in fourth with a time of 2:16.91, while first-year
Asher Baron (South Londonderry, Vt.) came in sixth with a time of 2:18.73.

Jett Sheppard (Park City, Utah) placed 21st with a time of 2:26.30, which was just 0.20 seconds faster than senior
Sebastian Sheppard (Park City, Utah), who cam in 22nd. First-year
Ben Hostetter (Osterville, Mass.), who was second after the first run, and classmate
Nicholas Heinrich (East Burke, Vt.) both failed to complete their second trip down the hill.
Babson returns to action on Friday when they travel to Proctor Ski Area for the first of two days of slalom races.
