It's been five decades since Babson men's soccer captured the first national championship in school history, but the memories still hold strong in present day. The 1975 squad completed the only unbeaten season in program history going 17-0-1 and defeating Brockport 1-0 in the national championship game.

Stephen Balicki '76, a member of that 1975 championship team, recalls his time with the program, what it means to be a part of Babson history, and the journey to capturing that first ever title.

The College will recognize the 1975 Beavers on Back to Babson weekend, at the home soccer game against longtime rival Clark on October 4, 2025, at 1 p.m.
