• Babson is 9-10-3 all-time against Tufts in a series that dates back to 1965.

SCOUTING THE JUMBOS
• No. 22 Tufts (5-1-2) extended its unbeaten streak to six games with a 1-1 draw against Wesleyan on Saturday.
• Henry Brown headed home a service from Canfin in the 11th minute before the Cardinals pulled in the 73rd minute of a game that featured just three shots on target.
• Brown (4-0-8) and Henry Perkins (3-2-8) have combined for seven goals, Canfin (2-2-6) is one of three players tied for the team lead in assists, and Gianluca Fallone (2-1-5) and Ben Ortman (2-1-5) both scored twice in a season-opening win over MIT.
• Antic (5-1-2) has started all eight matches and boasts a 0.79 goals against average to go along with a .600 save percentage and two shutouts for Tufts defense that has allowed more than three shots on goal just once this fall.
BEAVERS VS. THE NESCAC
• No. 22 Tufts is the last of three NESCAC foes Babson will face this season after beating Wesleyan 1-0 on September 6 and losing at No. 13 Amherst 2-1 last Tuesday.
• The Beavers are 3-3-5 against the NESCAC in 11 matches since 2023, which includes a 2-1-2 mark at Hartwell-Rogers Field.
HISTORY LESSON
• Babson, which recorded the program's 700th win back on September 14 at Oglethorpe, captured the NCAA's first Division III national championship 50 years with a 1-0 win over Brockport State on November 30, 1975.
• The national title was the first in Babson history and the first of three in six seasons for the Beavers, who also captured back-to-back championships in 1979 and 1980.
• Only Messiah (11), UNC Greensboro (5), which moved to Division I in 1991, and Tufts (4) have won more Division III national championships than Babson's three.
• Head coach
Jon Anderson '75 and Bob Hartwell and Bill Rogers, for which Babson's home field is named, have accounted for 681 of the program's 701 victories. Anderson ranks second among active coaches and 13th all-time on the Division III list with 476 wins, Hartwell went 118-34-14 from 1967-77 and Rogers was 87-23-15 from 1978-84.
HOME FIELD SUCCESS
• Despite having its 22-game unbeaten streak snapped in a 2-1 loss to Brandeis on September 20, the Beavers have been superb at Hartwell-Rogers Field over the last four seasons.
• The Green and White is 30-3-7 in its last home 40 games going back to September 3, 2022, and has not dropped back-to-back matches at Hartwell-Rogers Field since falling to Rutgers-Newark and William Paterson on September 3-4, 2016.
