WHAT TO KNOW
• After weather postponements on both Friday and Sunday, Babson will travel to Cambridge on Wednesday to take on MIT in a conference doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.
• The twin bill is a match-up of the two teams that squared off in the NEWMAC Tournament final last year, and the teams picked No. 1 (MIT) and No. 2 (Babson) in this year's NEWMAC preseason coaches' poll.
SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 46-29 all-time against MIT in a series that dates back to 1988.
• The Beavers have captured just one of the last six outings against the Engineers since 2023 but are 4-2 in regular season games the past three seasons.
• The Green and White are 7-7 vs. MIT at Briggs Field since 2017.
LAST MEETING
• Junior Caroline Langmeyer, the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, allowed just four hits and a walk while striking out six for MIT in a 4-0 win over Babson in the NEWMAC Tournament final on May 11, 2024.

• Senior Mackenzie Bivin produced a double, a triple, two runs scored and two RBI for the Engineers, while classmate Michaela Cable had a single, a double and a run scored. Sophomore Arianna Kumar and senior Kennedy Adkison both contributed RBI singles in the win.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (10-5, 2-2 NEWMAC) split a conference doubleheader with Springfield in its home debut last Friday, winning 4-0 in game one before falling 4-2 in game two at Alumni Field.

Sophia Pak went 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored and senior
Sara Moore had two hits and a run scored for the Beavers. Walsh reached base three times in the nightcap on a pair of walks and a single, one of six players who combined for Babson's six hits, while Moore and senior
Athena Hadjipanayis both singled and scored the two Beaver runs.
• Pak (.511), who is second in the NEWMAC in hitting, has a team-high 24 hits, including a double, a triple, nine RBI, 12 runs scored and a .558 on-base percentage. Moore (.352) has a triple, 13 runs scored, and seven stolen bases and first-year
Belle DiCampello (.348) has two doubles, a home run and eight RBI. Walsh leads the team with three doubles and has eight RBI and 11 runs scored.

Cameron Whiteford is 4-3 with a 2.93 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 43.0 innings pitched. Sophomore

SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• MIT (10-4, 1-1 NEWMAC) is playing for the first time since a non-conference doubleheader split at Endicott last Wednesday, winning game one, 5-4, before dropping game two, 8-6, in Beverly, Mass.
• First-year Layla Thiessen had three hits with a double, Cable had two hits with a home run, and junior Olivia Scarpaci hit a home run with two RBI in the game one victory, with Langmeyer earning the win in the circle with a complete-game effort. Junior Ava Ladd belted a three-run homer and first-year Delaney Benevides had two hits in the nightcap.
• Benevides (.439) leads the team in hitting and stolen bases (14), Cable (.408) has three home runs, 12 RBI and a team-high 15 runs scored, and Thiessen (.405) has three doubles, a triple and nine stolen bases. Adkison (.386) has scored 12 runs, Ladd (.361) has six extra-base hits and a team-high 13 RBI, first-year Maggie Feng (.351) has five doubles, two home runs and 12 RBI, Kumar (.341) has four doubles and a triple, and Scarpaci (.324) two doubles, a triple and three home runs for the Engineers, who have a .349 team batting average.
• Langmeyer is 4-1 with a 3.94 ERA with 34 strikeouts in 32 innings, senior Katie Katsuyama is 2-1 with a 5.15 ERA in four starts, junior Nicole Doering is 2-2 with a 5.73 ERA in three starts, and first-year Sarah Blackett is 1-0 with a 2.93 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 14.1 innings.
O'REILLY NAMED TO NFCA PITCHER TO WATCHLIST
• O'Reilly was named to the 2025 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III Pitcher and Player of the Year Watchlist late last week.
• Recognized for the second consecutive season, O'Reilly was of 119 players from 10 regions named to the watchlist by the NFCA Division III All-America Committee.
• A 2024 NFCA All-America second-team selection and the three-time reigning NEWMAC Pitcher of the Year, O'Reilly is 65-25 with a 1.74 ERA in 598.1 innings over 102 career appearances. She ranks first in program history in wins (65) and shutouts (24) and is the active Division III leader with a program-record 821 strikeouts.
STREAKING BEAVERS
• Pak extended her hitting streak to eight games and her on-base streak to 10 games in the Springfield games. She has at least one hit in 13 of the 15 games this season with seven multi-hit contests and four three-knock outings.
• Moore has hit safely in 11 of her 15 games with seven multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games for the Beavers.
• DiCampello has hit safely in 12 of the 15 games and reached base safely in all 15.
• Hadjipanayis has reached base in nine in a row and hit safely in six straight games, going 8-for-21 with five runs scored.
IN THE RECORD BOOKS
• With three hits against Springfield, Moore has climbed into fourth on the program's all-time list with 181 hits, seven shy of Jackie Enos '13, who had 188.
• Moore has also moved up to a tie for eighth with Samantha Smith '18 on the all-time list for runs scored with 109, one behind Michelle Malone '02 for seventh, and three shy of Nicole Lantini '12 for sixth.

• The Beavers are 10-1 this spring and 29-8 since the start of last season when scoring at least three runs.
• Babson is 6-2 this season when scoring first.
