SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (22-13, 12-6 NEWMAC) is coming off an 11-1 five inning victory over Clark after dropping game one of Wednesday's doubleheader in Worcester 5-4.

Sara Moore went 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored and first-year
Belle DiCampello singled three times and knocked in a pair of runs for the Beavers, who had six different players record multiple hits and five drive in at least one run.
• Pak is batting .460 with three doubles, two triples, a team-high 22 RBI and 19 runs scored, Moore is hitting .411 with four extra-base hits, 27 stolen bases, 16 RBI and a team-high 29 runs scored, and sophomore
Emily Walsh owns a .301 average to go along with a team-best eight doubles, 13 RBI and 21 runs scored.

Cameron Whiteford is 10-6 with a 1.65 ERA, five shutouts and 118 strikeouts in 106.0 innings, while O'Reilly is 8-5 with a 1.75 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 88.0 innings pitched this spring.
SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• WPI (22-12, 11-5 NEWMAC) has won 11 of its last 14 games despite suffering a 7-2 loss at Hartford on Tuesday.
• Lucy Latour went 2-for-2 with a double, two walks and a run scored, and Destiny Lum singled twice and knocked in a run for the Engineers, who left the bases loaded in both the third and sixth innings before breaking up the Hawks' shutout bid in the top of the seventh.
• Latour is batting .422 with 12 doubles, four home runs, 18 RBI and 32 runs scored, Sandy Fairbairn is hitting .404 with seven doubles, four homers, 20 stolen bases, 24 RBI and a team-high 39 runs scored, and Lum boasts a .402 average to go along with 13 doubles, four home runs, 36 RBI and 26 runs scored.
• Naomi Boldebuck is 14-3 with a 3.43 ERA, four shutouts and 69 strikeouts in 105.0 innings pitched, while Sofia Knopf is 5-6 with a 6.58 earned run average and 47 strikeouts in 65.2 innings of work.
WHITEFORD COLLECTS THIRD CONFERENCE HONOR
• Following a week that included a no-hitter, a pair of shutouts and two wins, Whiteford was tabbed as the NEWMAC Pitcher of the Week on Monday.
• She struck out 10 while twirling her second no-hitter of the year in a 1-0 win over Bates last Thursday and followed it up with the shutout against Salve Regina while going 2-0 with a 0.58 WHIP and 20 strikeouts in 15.1 innings over three appearances.
WHAT'S THE SCENARIO
• The Beavers enter Thursday's doubleheader in fourth place in the NEWMAC standings, percentage points behind both Springfield and WPI, who are tied for second at 11-5.
• Babson can still finish as high as second with two wins over WPI and at least one loss by Springfield to either Smith or Salve Regina.
• The Green and White will be no worse than the fifth seed in next week's conference tournament.
HIT PARADE
• Pak, who owns a nine-game hitting streak, is tied for second in the NEWMAC with a career-high 52 knocks on the season and also ranks second on the team with 14 multi-hit games.
• Moore, who is third on Babson's all-time list with 214 hits, joined Andrea Cartullo '07 and Catie Funk '13 as the only players in program history with three 50-hit seasons on Wednesday, and her 51 knocks are good for fourth in the league.
• Moore leads the Green and White with 17 multi-hit games on the year and enters Thursday's twin bill riding a 10-game hit streak.
RISING UP THE RECORD BOOKS
• Already the program's all-time leader with 97 stolen bases, Moore has swiped 27 bags this spring and is just five away from matching her single-season record of 32 set back in 2023. Her 256 total bases also rank fifth on the Beavers' career list.
• O'Reilly is tied for first among active Division III pitchers with 868 career strikeouts in addition to ranking third in innings pitched (647.1) and strikeouts per seven innings (9.35), and sixth with 70 career victories in the circle.
CIRCLE OF TRUST
• Babson's pitching staff of O'Reilly, Whiteford and sophomore
Katie Vlacich is tops in the NEWMAC and ranks 11th in Division III in hits allowed per seven innings (5.22), 22nd nationally in both earned run average (1.86) and WHIP (1.11).
• The Beavers' eight shutouts are good for second in the conference and 46th in Division III, and their 3.05 strikeout-to-walk ratio ranks second in the league and 29th nationally.
