SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 68-21 all-time against Clark in a series that dates back to 1983.

Chase Burrows allowed three runs over 7.0 innings to improve to 4-0 with the win and junior
Zander Teator with 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI at the plate before recording his fourth save of the year in the ninth for the Beavers, who allowed just three base runners over the final six frames.

Ryan Liss is batting .345 with three homers, six doubles, 19 RBI and 14 runs scored, junior
Walter Sadowsky is hitting .321 with two home runs and 14 RBI, and senior

James Clark (2-0, 2.84 ERA), who is coming off a complete-game shutout, has recorded 17 strikeouts and is holding opposing hitters to a .145 average in 19.0 innings, Finkelstein (1-0, 3.63 ERA) has struck out 14 in 17.1 innings this spring, and the duo of Teator (4 saves, 3.38 ERA) and senior
Luke McClintock (1 save, 2.57 ERA) have combined for 14 strikeouts while giving up just five hits in 15.0 innings out of the bullpen.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
• Clark (14-7, 1-3 NEWMAC) snapped a three-game ski with a 15-11 win over New England College on Wednesday.
• Billy Sullivan went 4-for-5 with a double and three RBI, Carter Doran was 2-for-5 with a triple, three RBI and tow runs scored, and Michael Soares hit a two-run homer for the Cougars, who swiped seven bags and recorded four of their six extra-base hits during an eight-run third-inning rally.
• Sullivan is batting .462 with three homers, eight doubles, 17 stolen bases, 22 RBI and 26 runs scored, Mariani is hitting .392 with four home runs, five doubles, four triples, 23 RBI and 27 runs scored, and Doran boasts a .368 average to go along with 11 doubles, three triples, 22 RBI and a team-high 30 runs scored.
• Robby Roth (3-1, 2.38 ERA) has recorded 27 strikeouts in 22.2 innings out of the bullpen, Tommy Flaherty (2-0, 3.95 ERA) has fanned 35 batters in 27.1 innings over nine appearances and Jacob Kline is 1-1 with a 3.50 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 18.0 innings of relief this spring.
SANTOS SETS STOLEN BASE RECORD
• After drawing a lead-off walk in the bottom of the first inning, Santos became the Beavers' all-time leader with his 56th career stolen base.
• Santos, who is 7-for-7 in steal attempts this spring and the only player to swipe more than 20 bags in multiple seasons (23 in 2023, 21 in 2024), passed the previous mark of 55 stolen bases set by Steve Tahmoush '08.
QUALITY INNINGS
• Burrows, who was making just his second career start on Tuesday against Trinity, did not allow a hit after the second inning and retired 15 of the final 17 batters he faced while lowering his WHIP to 0.77, which ranks 10th in Division III.
• Clark enters the weekend ranked 15th in Division III allowing just 4.26 hits per nine innings.
• McClintock has not allowed a hit over his last three relief appearances and going back to last year he boasts a 2.51 ERA is holding opposing batters to a .179 while recording 33 strikeouts over 43.0 innings in 25 appearances.
TRENDS TO WATCH
• Sadowsky enters Friday's doubleheader riding an 11-game hitting streak and has reached base safely in 12 consecutive outings.
• Santos has reached base in each of his last 12 starts, Liss and first-year
Gabe Cushner have gotten in base in each of their last 11 games, and Savage has gotten on in 10 straight starts.
• Liss (6), Guest (6) and Savage (5) lead the Beavers in multi-hit games, while Sadowsky and Liss are first on the squad with five multi-RBI games.
• The Babson pitching staff ranks second in the NEWMAC in WHIP (1.34), walks allowed (59) and opponents' batting average (.242).
