SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 2-3 all-time against Bates in a series that dates back to 2001.
• The Beavers have won their last two games against the Bobcats although the teams have met just once since 2002.
• Thursday's games will be the first played in Babson Park between the programs since 2001.
LAST MEETING
• Maya Lacy '16 went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Leslie Moore '17 allowed just one run on three hits as Babson defeated Bates 9-1 in five innings on March 17, 2016, in Clermont, Fla.

Meaghan Merullo (Kerrigan) '16 doubled twice and drove in two runs, Moore was 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored, and Caitie Benoit '16 finished with two RBI for the Beavers, who scored three times in the third and tacked on four more runs in the fourth to build a 9-0 lead.
• Paige Ahlholm homered in the bottom of the fifth inning for the Bobcats, who had just four baserunners in the game.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (18-10) has won eight of its last 12 games but is coming off a 3-2 loss at Tufts on Tuesday afternoon.

Sophia Pak is batting .460 with three extra-base hits, 17 RBI and 16 runs scored, Moore is hitting .347 with two extra-base hits, nine RBI, 17 stolen bases and 24 runs scored, and Walsh owns a .304 average to go along with six doubles, 10 RBI and 17 runs scored.

Cameron Whiteford is 8-5 with a 1.90 ERA, three shutouts and 93 strikeouts in 84.2 innings pitched, while classmate
Moira O'Reilly is 6-4 with a 2.09 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 67.0 innings this spring.
SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
• Bates (14-12) has dropped its last five games and is coming off a 6-0 loss to Husson in the nightcap of Tuesday's doubleheader.
• Emily Kennedy was 2-for-2 with a walk and Isabel Bettencourt singled twice to account for four of the six hits for the Bobcats, who have suffered nine losses by one or two runs this spring.
• Bettencourt is batting .447 with eight doubles, three home runs, 27 RBI and 13 runs scored, Grace Householter is hitting .339 with four triples and 13 runs batted in, and Zariya Anderson boasts a .333 average to go along with six doubles, two triples, 17 RBI and 14 runs scored.
• Delaney Rankin is 9-4 with a 1.34 ERA, three shutouts and 89 strikeouts in 89.0 innings pitched, while Brigid Gaffny is 3-2 with a 3.15 ERA in 33.1 innings of work this season.
SUCCESS STARTS IN THE CIRCLE
• The Beavers have given up three runs or fewer in 11 of their last 13 games dating back to their April 9 doubleheader at MIT.
• The trio of Whiteford (4-2), O'Reilly (3-2) and sophomore
Katie Vlacich (1-1) boast a 1.37 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP during this stretch and just 12 of the 64 hits they've given have gone for extra bases.
• Opposing hitters are also batting just .197 against Babson's pitching staff over this 13-game stretch.
MOVING UP THE CHARTS
• Already the program's all-time leader with 87 stolen bases, Moore ranks third in program history with 197 hits and has moved into a tie for sixth place in the Beavers' all-time record books with 236 total bases.
• The active NCAA Division III leader with 847 strikeouts, O'Reilly's made the 107th appearance of her career on Tuesday at Tufts, matching the program record held by Ali Reilly '18.
TRENDS TO WATCH
• Moore (11) and Pak (10) lead the Green and White in multi-hit games this season.
• Over the last 13 games, Babson has outscored its opponents 14-1 in the first inning and 35-4 over the first three innings.
• In eight games this spring at Alumni Field, the Beavers are batting .324 as a team and have allowed more than two runs just once.
