WHAT TO KNOW
• The Babson men's golf team travels to Long Island to conclude its regular season at the Farmingdale State Invitational for the first time on Friday and Saturday.
• The Red Course at Bethpage is a 7,092-yard, par-70 layout that opened in 1935 and was designed by famed architect A.W. Tillinghast, who also designed Bethpage Black, which has played host to a pair of U.S. Open Championships and welcomes the Ryder Cup this fall.
ABOUT THE BEAVERS
• No. 20 Babson is coming off a third-place finish at the 54-hole Cochran Collegiate, which featured 13 teams ranked in the top 50 of the Scoreboard Division III rankings on Monday and Tuesday.

Jack Berry tied for 23rd at 16-over and first-year
Aman Vantipalli was a shot behind him in 28th position for the Beavers, who battled tough conditions to shoot 306-293-314 to finish behind a pair of top-10 squads in Oglethorpe and Lynchburg.
• Eichenlaub boasts a 73.17 stoke average and has five top-six finishes in seven starts this season, Vantipalli (73.94) has recorded six top-30 results in seven tournaments and Berry has finished under par three times and is third on the team with a 75.40 stroke average in 2024-25.

Colin Fowler owns a 75.25 stroke average and has three top-40 finishes in three tournament this spring for the Beavers, who boast a 296.89 team scoring average on the year.
ABOUT THE FIELD
• Babson, which is currently 18th in the Scoreboard rankings, is one of five top-50 squads competing in this weekend's event along with No. 8 Huntingdon, No. 26 Rochester, No. 36 Trinity and No. 45 Rensselaer.
• NYU, which shot 285-290 to finish at 15-over, posted a nine-stroke victory over St. Lawrence and was 11 shots clear of Farmingdale State at last year's event.
SCOREBOARD WATCHING
• The Beavers moved up from 22nd to 18th in the latest Scoreboard Division III rankings thanks to their third-place showing in Memphis earlier this week.
• Eichenlaub, who boasts a 71.90 adjusted scoring average, moved up nine spots to 25th in Division III and is second in Region I behind only Ramon Aroca Gonzalez of Hamilton.
• Vantipalli is currently 84th, while Berry moved into the top 150 at No. 147.
• This weekend's rounds at Bethpage are Babson's last opportunity to gain points as it hopes to position itself to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Championship when the field is announced in early May.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• Berry turned in the low round of his career and the low round of the tournament by four shots at the Cochran Collegiate, firing a bogey-free 5-under 67 in the second round of Monday's 36-hole gauntlet.
• Eichenlaub's 73.17 stroke average this season is currently third on the Beavers' single-season list behind only Nicholas Gianelos '22, who finished with a 71.59 average in 2021-22 on the way to earning All-America first-team honors, and Jackson Rothwell (73.13) in in 2021-22.
• Babson has had at least one player finish under par in seven of its last 11 rounds going back to the opening day of the Golfweek Fall Preview on October 13.
• The Beavers have finished with a team score of 294 or better in eight of 18 rounds on the year.
