SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is just 1-8 all-time against Bowdoin in a series that dates back to 1994.
• Sunday's matchup is the first between the Beavers and Polar Bears since 2011 and the first in the regular season since 2005.
• Babson's lone win in the all-time series was a 9-6 victory back in 1996.
LAST MEETING
• Liz Clegg (4g, 1a) and Carolyn Gorajek (3g, 2a) produced five points apiece as Bowdoin defeated Babson, 16-5, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on May 11, 2011.
• Katie Herter added three goals, six ground balls and five caused turnovers, and Tara Connolly finished with 10 saves for the Polar Bears, who opened the game with eight consecutive goals.
• Trisha Babson '12 recorded a goal and an assist to go along with a game-high six draw controls, Colleen Mulligan '12 also scored once to go along with one assist and Sara Macary '11 stopped 13 shots in the loss.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• No. 14 IWLCA/No. 16 USA Lacrosse Babson (9-2) is riding a six-game winning streak after cruising past Framingham State 20-7 on Friday afternoon.

Amelia Novitch (2g, 2a) combined for nine points, and first-year
Alivia Downer tied for game-high honors with three caused turnovers for the Beavers, who raced out to a 14-2 halftime lead.
• Blake (30-18-48) has multiple goals in all 11 games this spring, Novitch (22-23-45) has produced 20 points over the last four contests and Connolly (35-0-35) has scored 18 goals over the last three games and ranks second in Division III in both draw controls (148) and draw controls per game (13.45).

Jessica Evans (15-7-22) is second on the team with 18 ground balls to go along with nine caused turnovers, graduate student
Eileen Manning leads the Green and White with 14 caused turnovers and senior
Kathleen Murphy ranks 32nd in Division III with a 8.13 goals against average and is 36th nationally with a .504 save percentage in 11 starts.
SCOUTING THE POLAR BEARS
• Bowdoin (6-6) has won two of its last three game after rallying for a 9-8 victory over Williams on Saturday.
• Lauren Burke, who broke an 8-8 tie with 1:33 remaining, and Molly Reed both scored three times, Kate Min contributed four ground balls and two caused turnovers, and Hannah Rubin made three of her five saves in the fourth quarter for the Polar Bears, who were successful on 17-of-19 clears.
• Burke (32-6-38) is first on the team with 13 free-position goals, Reed (32-2-34) has scored 22 times over the last six games and leads the squad with 52 draw controls, and Miya Imaeda (21-9-30) is first in assists and third on the team in points.
• Anna Paulmann leads the defense with 19 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers, Katie Athanasoulas is second in both forced turnovers (18) and draw controls (21), Rubin has posted a 10.14 goals against average and a .364 save percentage in 11 starts this spring.
CONNOLLY EARNS NEWMAC RECOGNITION
• A week after being named the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division III Player of the Week, Connolly was honored again on Monday with the NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week award.
• The Beaver senior finished the week with nine goals and 42 draw controls on the way to becoming the all-time Division III leader with 671 draw controls. She capped the week with career-highs of seven goals and 24 draw controls in Saturday's 19-7 win at Salve Regina.
• After surpassing the previous Division III record of 637 draw controls held by Emily Wadds of Wittenberg, Connolly ranks second in NCAA history in all divisions, trailing only Maddie Jenner of Duke (791 from 2019-23).
DYNAMIC DUO
• The duo of Blake and Novitch have combined for at least eight points in five consecutive games going back to the Beavers' March 29 win over Emerson.
• Blake has at least five points in each of the five contests and Novitch has produced 11 goals and 11 assists during this stretch, which includes a pair of six-point outings.
BUILDING A RESUME
• Babson debuted at No. 32 in the Division III NPI rankings, which are used to select and seed the NCAA Tournament, released earlier in the week.
• The Beavers' only losses are to Middlebury and Trinity, which are both ranked in the top 15, and they have own four top-100 wins, two of which have come this week over MIT and Framingham State, and have a chance for a third with Bowdoin currently at No. 47.
SENIOR MILESTONES
• Murphy ranks second all-time among Babson goalkeepers with 52 career wins, which is two shy of Sarah Macary's '11 record of 54, in addition to ranking fifth with 459 saves and is tied for ninth with 134 saves.
• Novitch is tied for 19th in program history in scoring with 97 goals and 57 assists and needs three more of each to become one of just five players in Babson history with at least 100 goals and 60 assists.
• Blake is five goals shy of 100 for her career and needs just five points to become the 21st player in school history to reach the 150 mark.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 8-0 this season and have won their last 23 games when leading at halftime.
• Babson is 9-0 on the year and 35-1 over the last three years when scoring at least 12 goals.
• The Green and White is 7-0 this spring and has won 60 of its last 61when allowing 10 goals or fewer.
• The Beavers are 6-2 this season and 13-4 over the last two seasons on the road.
