SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 37-33 all-time against Smith in a series that dates back to 1988.
• The Beavers have won two of three games last season and have gone 25-6 versus the Pioneers since 2008.
• The Green and White owns a 12-game winning streak against Smith at Alumni Field that dates back to 2009, although the teams have played just four times in Babson Park since 2014.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (11-6, 3-3 NEWMAC) got a complete game from graduate student
Cameron Whiteford and scored four times in the top of the seventh inning to defeat MIT 6-2 to earn a split of Wednesday's doubleheader in Cambridge.

Belle DiCampello drove in the go-ahead run with a double and sophomore
Emily Walsh added a two-run double for the Beavers, who saw nine different players record a hit in the victory.

Sophia Pak is batting .481 with two extra-base hits, nine RBI and 13 runs scored, senior
Sara Moore is batting .344 with a triple, eight RBI, seven stolen bases and 13 runs scored, and DiCampello owns a .321 average to go along with three doubles, a home run, nine RBI and 10 runs scored.

Moira O'Reilly (3-3, 2.37 ERA) has recorded 55 strikeouts in 41.1 innings, Whiteford is 5-3 with a 2.80 ERA and 65 strikeouts in 50.0 innings, and sophomore
Katie Vlacich is 3-0 with a 3.05 earned run average and 25 strikeouts in 20.2 innings pitched this spring.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
• Smith (5-14, 1-3 NEWMAC) has dropped five of its last six games and is coming off a 5-4 setback against Amherst on Wednesday.
• Gray went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI and Lily Hackett walked twice and scored a run for the Pioneers, who jumped on top 2-0 in the first and left the potential game-tying run in scoring position in the bottom of the seventh.
• Kat Wajerski is batting .349 with seven doubles, nine RBI and nine runs scored, Ally Knutson is hitting .328 with five extra-base hits, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored, and Gray enters the weekend with a .3290 average to go along with a home run, seven doubles, 11 RBI and eight runs scored.
• Emilie Doty is 3-8 with a 4.39 ERA and has recorded 48 strikeouts in 65.1 innings, while Gray has made six appearances going 1-3 with a 5.19 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 29.2 innings pitched.
O'REILLY NAMED TO NFCA PITCHER AND PLAYER WATCHLIST
• O'Reilly was named to the 2025 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III Pitcher and Player of the Year Watchlist late last week.
• Recognized for the second consecutive season, O'Reilly was of 119 players from 10 regions named to the watchlist by the NFCA Division III All-America Committee.
• A 2024 NFCA All-America second-team selection and the three-time reigning NEWMAC Pitcher of the Year, O'Reilly is 65-26 with a 1.74 ERA in 605.2 innings over 103 career appearances. She ranks first in program history in wins (65) and shutouts (24) and is the active Division III leader with a program-record 821 strikeouts.
RECORD SETTERS
• Already the program's all-time leader in wins, strikeouts and shutouts, O'Reilly passed Ali Reilly's '18 mark of 600.2 innings pitched on Wednesday at MIT.
• Already the leader all-time lead with 77 stolen bases, Moore's 183 career hits rank fourth all-time behind Catie Funk '12 (231), Andrea Cartullo '07 (223) and Jackie Enos '12 (188), and her 109 runs scored are tied for eighth in Babson history.
STREAKING INTO THE WEEKEND
• Senior
Athena Hadjipanayis extended her hitting streak to eight games with a knock in both ends of Wednesday's doubleheader at MIT, and has now reached base in 11 consecutive starts dating back to March 19.

Allie Cubberly recorded a base hit in both games on Wednesday at MIT.
SPLIT DECISION
• The Beavers have split their first three NEWMAC doubleheaders and overall 11 of the first 13 twin bills across the league have ended with each team winning once.
• Through the first two weeks of league play, only Wheaton (vs. Smith) and Wellesley (vs. Clark) have recorded a sweep leaving seven teams sitting at .500 entering Friday's action.
