WHAT TO KNOW
• With rain expected throughout the day on Saturday, the scheduled doubleheader between Babson and Salve Regina will be split up.
• The teams will meet on Friday afternoon at Govoni Field and hope to complete the season series on either Sunday or Monday afternoon.
SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 13-6 all-time against Salve Regina in a series that dates back to 1986.
• The Beavers dropped both regular season matchups last April before defeating the Seahawks in the NEWMAC Tournament.

Jason Finkelstein (2-0, 3.33 ERA) has won back-to-back starts and has 18 strikeouts in 24.1 innings, and Spalter is 2-2 with a 5.20 ERA and 21 strikeouts against just five walks in 27.2 innings pitched.

• No. 13 D3baseball.com/No. 14 ABCA Salve Regina (15-7, 4-3 NEWMAC) followed up Tuesday's loss to Clark by defeating MIT 5-2 in a game suspended back on March 28 on Wednesday.
• Brandon Grover went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI, Nate Ruehs went 2-for-2 with and RBI and Kyle Carozza struck out nine while giving up two runs, both unearned, over 7.0 innings for the Seahawks, who led 2-0 in the fourth inning when the game was paused.
• Shane Williams is batting .355 with five doubles, two triples, 19 RBI and 18 runs scored, Yaworski is hitting .349 with two homers, three doubles and 10 runs batted in, and Evan O'Rourke owns a .323 average to go along with six doubles, two home runs, eight stolen bases, 17 RBI and 21 runs scored.
