• No. 14 IWLCA/No. 19 USA Lacrosse Babson (3-2, 2-0 NEWMAC) had its three-game winning streak halted on Sunday as it suffered a 13-7 loss at then-No. 15/18 Trinity.
• Connolly scored three times, Blake added two goals and Novitch registered two assists for the Beavers, who got 15 saves from senior
Kathleen Murphy but were outscored 7-3 in the middle quarters by the Bantams.

SCOUTING THE LYONS
• Mount Holyoke (3-4, 1-1 NEWMAC) snapped a three-game losing streak with a thrilling 19-18 win over Emerson on Saturday.
• Juliana Spaulding scored a career-high 10 goals and Emi Bisson finished with two goals and a career-best 13 assists for 15 points to go along with nine draw controls for the Lyons, who led 18-14 with 9:28 to go in the fourth quarter before holding off a late Lions' rally.
• Bisson (19-21-40) leads the league in both assists and points per game, Spaulding (27-8-35) is first on the team in goals, ground balls (26), draw controls (28) and caused turnovers (18), and Elle Mader (13-0-13) has produced four multi-goal games.
• Jane Harmon and Josie McFadden have both recorded nine caused turnovers, while Valeria Bolanos has posted a 14.71 goals against average and a .348 save percentage to go along with 55 saves in seven starts.
MURPHY EARNS CONFERENCE RECOGNITION
• For the second time this season, Murphy was chosen as the NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
• She made 25 saves in three starts while posting a 9.60 goals against average and a .510 save percentage in addition to scooping up 10 ground balls and recording five caused turnovers.
• Murphy matched her career high with 15 saves in Sunday's loss to Trinity and registered season highs with six ground balls and two caused turnovers in last Tuesday's win at Roger Williams.
DOMINATING THE NEWMAC
• During its current 23-game winning streak versus conference foes, Babson has outscored its opponents by a score of 427-117 and by 13.5 goals per game.
• The Beavers have scored at least 20 goals 11 times and at least 10 goals in 22 of 23 contests.
• The Green and White has recorded a pair of shutouts and allowed five goals or fewer 13 times while conceding 10 or more goals in just four contests.
