• Babson is 41-26 all-time against WPI in a series that dates back to the 1976-77 campaign.

• Babson is 4-4 in eight NEWMAC Tournament matchups versus WPI and is 5-6 all-time in the league playoffs dating back to the days of the NEW 8 Conference.
• Wednesday's matchup is the first between the teams since 2018 when the Engineers defeated the Beavers 64-56 in OT in Northampton, Mass.
• The Green and White is 1-2 all-time against WPI in the quarterfinals with the victory coming inside Staake Gymnasium back in 2015.
• Babson and WPI met in the postseason in four consecutive seasons from 2015-18, which included splitting a pair of championship games in 2016 and 2017.

SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Second-seeded Babson (16-9) enters the tournament riding a seven-game winning streak after dispatching Clark 85-56 in Saturday's regular season finale.
• Mollica scored a career-high 28 points on 11-of-12 shooting, senior
Abby Miller contributed 13 points and five assists, and Perreault came off the bench to score 12 points for the Beavers, who made eight first-quarter three-pointers and built a 49-12 halftime lead.
• Mollica (15.1 pts, 1.5 ast) ranks fourth in the conference in scoring and second in Division III with 91 three-pointers, Reale (11.0 pts, 6.3 reb, 2.2 ast, 2.0 stl) has scored in double figures in three of the last four games and Flynn (9.8 pts, 6.9 reb, 2.3 ast) leads the team in rebounds and assists while posting seven double-doubles on the year.
• The Green and White ranks first in league play shooting 41.2 percent from behind the arc and is fourth in scoring offense (69.5 points) and third in rebounding margin (8.2).
SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• Seventh-seeded WPI (12-13) has won four consecutive games and defeated Wheaton, 65-53, to clinch a conference tournament berth on Saturday.
• Alice Kelly scored 22 points on 6-of-12 shooting, Giansiracusa finished with 17 points and Allyn contributed 11 points and two steals for the Engineers, who raced out to a 12-point first-quarter lead and shot 44.9 percent from the floor in the win.
• Giansiracusa (11.8 pts, 4.8 reb) is shooting 44.1 percent on the year and averaging 16.0 points over the last five games, Kelly (10.9 pts, 5.1 reb, 2.8 ast) leads the team in rebounds, assists and steals (29), and Allyn (9.9 pts, 2.6 reb) averaged 17.5 points on 50 percent shooting in two victories last week.
• WPI is shooting 45 percent during its four-game winning streak and ranks against conference foes in scoring defense allowing just 52.9 points and fourth in field goal percentage defense (37.8).
POSTSEASON PEDIGREE
• Babson enters the 2025 NEWMAC Tournament coming off three consecutive championship game appearances from 2022-24.
• The Beavers have captured 10 NEW 8/NEWMAC Tournament championships going back to 1991 (1991, 1993, 1999, 2009-13, 2015, 2017) and have made 15 straight appearances in the conference semifinals dating back to 2009.
• The Green and White also has won its last eight NEWMAC quarterfinal matchups since 2009 and is 24-5 all-time in the quarterfinal round going back to the formation of the NEW 6 Conference in 1986.
MOLLICA REACHES SCORING MILESTONE
• Mollica, who was selected as the NEWMAC Offensive Player on Monday, became the 21st player in program history to surpass 1,000 career points in Saturday's win over Clark.
• She averaged 22.5 points on 66.7 percent shooting in wins over Mount Holyoke and the Cougars.
SENIOR MOMENTS
• The senior quintet of Davis, Flynn, Miller, Mollica and
Camilla Silk combined for 61 points in Saturday's victory over Clark, which included Mollica (28) and Miller (13) scoring 22 of their 41 points in the first quarter.
• Silk scored nine points and led all players with a season-high 13 rebounds, Flynn knocked down a pair of three-pointers and scored all eight of her points in the opening stanza, and Davis matched her career high with nine assists to go along with three points, six boards and two steals.
FEBRUARY FRENZY
• Since turning the calendar to February, Babson has gone 7-0 while outscoring its opponents by more than 19 points per game.
• During this stretch, the Green and White has held six of seven opponents below 60 points and is allowing just 52.6 points on 36.2 percent shooting to go along with a +10.8 rebounding margin.
• Six different players are averaging at least 7.0 points and Babson is averaging 1.03 points per possession while shooting 48.1 percent on its two-point field goal attempts.
• Over the last two seasons, the Beavers are 11-3 in the month of February, which includes a 7-2 mark on the road.
TOURNAMENT TESTED
• Babson will play its 16th postseason game since 2022 on Wednesday night when it faces WPI.
• Silk has played in all 15 of the Beavers' conference and NCAA Tournament contests over the last three seasons and averaged 9.0 points and 8.3 rebounds in three games last winter.
• Mollica has made 10 starts, which includes four in the 2023 NCAA Tournament, and contributed 9.3 points while shooting 6-of-15 from three-point range in last year's conference tournament.
• Miller and Davis have appeared in 13 and eight postseason games, respectively, while Flynn averaged 8.3 points in last year's run to the NEWMAC Tournament final.

• Flynn has made 11 three-pointers over the last six games and has been deadly from deep at home this season shooting 42.9 percent from beyond the arc in 12 outings.
• Silk is averaging 8.8 points and 8.3 rebounds while shooting 61.9 percent (13-of-21) from the floor over the last four games.
• Perreault is averaging 9.5 points over the last four games and is shooting 54.3 percent during the Beavers' seven-game winning streak.
• Mollica, who is Babson's single-season (91) and all-time leader (215) in three-pointers, ranks second in Division III in three-pointers per game (3.64) and 10th shooting 43.5 percent from beyond the arc.
