MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — Babson College graduate student Emily Flynn (Hanover, Mass./Hanover) was recognized with All-Conference First Team honors when the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced its women's basketball postseason awards on Wednesday morning.

A 5-10 forward, Flynn started 24 of her 25 games and averaged career highs of 14.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season while shooting 42.6 percent from the field and knocking down a career-high 47 3-point field goals, tied for eighth most in a season in program history. She led the NEWMAC in field goal percentage and finished fifth in the conference in scoring and eighth in rebounding. She also tied for sixth in free throw percentage (80.9) and ranked seventh in 3-point field goals per game (1.9), and 13th in 3-point field goal percentage (31.8) as well as fifth in assists per game (3.3) and eighth in assist/turnover ratio (1.0). Flynn scored in double figures in 19 games, including a career-high 34 points in a win over Salve Regina on February 11, and made at least one 3-pointer in 20 games, including a career-high seven from long range against Salve Regina.

A four-year veteran for the Beavers, Flynn started 50 of her 81 career outings and averaged 9.4 points and 5.5 rebounds with a 42.6 field goal percentage, a 36.4 3-point field goal percentage, and an 82.4 free throw percentage. She made 90 of her 115 career 3-pointers, scored 620 of her 765 career points and grabbed 365 of her 447 rebounds over the past two seasons, and her 115 career 3-pointers rank fifth-most in program history,

Flynn led the Beavers to an 18-9 overall record this season, recording the most wins since 2022-23. The Gren and White were 9-2 in NEWMAC games and advanced to the conference tournament semifinals for 17th time in 18 seasons.
