Katelyn Mollica (Foxborough, Mass.) scored 12 of her game-high 17 points in the first half to lead three players in double figures as visiting Babson College rolled to an 82-28 win at Mount Holyoke College in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's basketball action on Wednesday night inside Mildred S. Howard Gymnasium.
Babson, which extended its winning streak to six games, is now 15-9 overall and 7-3 in conference play. Mount Holyoke has dropped its last 11 games to slip to 4-20 overall and 0-10 in the NEWMAC.

Abby Miller (Millis, Mass.) scored a season-high 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting and classmate
Emily Flynn (Hanover, Mass.) added 10 points and eight rebounds to lead the Beavers. Junior

Camilla Silk (Medfield, Mass.) tied for game-high honors with eight boards and classmate
Kiara Simone Davis (Coral Springs, Fla.) led all players with a season-high seven assists in the win.
Sophomore Hannah Goen (New London, N.H.) scored nine points to go along with three assists for the Lyons.
Mollica scored 10 of the first 12 points and Flynn added six as the Green and White raced out to a 21-2 lead just over seven minutes into the contest. Hoops by Perreault, junior
Claire McCarthy (Dorchester, Mass.) and Mollica made it 27-4 at the end of one and Carlo scored five straight points to open the second quarter as the Beavers' lead swelled to 30-4 just 51 seconds into the stanza.
Babson scored the final eight points of the half to extend its lead to 42-8 at the break before starting the third quarter with a 9-0 spurt to make it 51-8 on two free throws by Silk at the 7:11 mark. Miller followed with five straight points and Perreault scored six of the next 10 as the Beavers pushed the margin to 66-15 going to the fourth.
The Green and White maintained its 50-point lead throughout the final stanza with its largest advantage of the game coming at 81-24 on a bucket by Thompson with 3:02 to play in the game.
The Beavers shot 48.6 percent from the floor and finished with a 49-24 edge on the glass. The Lyons shot just 24 percent overall and were 1-of-14 (7.1 percent) from three-point range.
Both teams will conclude the regular season on Saturday as Babson hosts Clark at 3 p.m., while Mount Holyoke takes on Coast Guard.
