SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (12-9, 4-3 NEWMAC) has won three straight games after cruising past Wheaton, 74-52, on Saturday afternoon.

• Mollica (14.3 pts, 1.8 reb, 1.4 ast) ranks second in Division III with 75 three-pointers and is shooting 43.1 percent from beyond the arc, Reale (11.3 pts, 6.4 reb, 2.4 ast, 2.0 stl) is second in the conference in steals and Flynn (97 pts, 7.3 reb, 2.3 ast) is second in the NEWMAC with seven double-doubles.

SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• MIT (10-11, 6-1 NEWMAC) has won six of its last seven games and is coming off an 88-79 victory over Coast Guard on Saturday.
• Choi poured in a game-high 32 points and Nwogu added 26 points on 11-of-14 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and three steals for the Engineers, who shot 52.2 percent and led by as many as 16 in the first half after opening the game with a 12-0 run.
• Nwogu (15.6 pts, 7.4 reb, 1.7 stl) has scored in double figures in 12 straight games and is shooting a league-best 58.6 percent, Choi (13.1 pts, 4.4 reb, 2.8 ast) has two or more steals in nine of the last 10 contests and Elise Harvey (9.3 pts, 4.9 reb) is averaging 10.2 points on 40.4 percent shooting in NEWMAC play.
• MIT is averaging 70.4 points against conference foes and ranks fourth in scoring defense (58.0 points), field goal percentage defense (35.1) and rebounding margin (5.3).
POSTSEASON PUSH
• After rallying from a 1-3 start in league play, the Beavers begin the week as part of a three-way tie for fourth place in the standings at 4-3 along with Saturday's opponent Springfield and Salve Regina, which they defeated in late January.
• All three squads are chasing first-place Smith (7-0), Emerson (6-1) and MIT (6-1), while Coast Guard, Clark and Wheaton are all 3-4 entering Wednesday's action.
• The top eight team qualify for the NEWMAC Tournament, which begins with the quarterfinals on February 26.

Mary Kate Flynn, combined for 16 points, nine rebounds and four steals in Saturday's victory over Wheaton.
• Emily scored six of her nine points in the opening stanza and tied for team-high honors with seven boards, while Mary Kate provided all seven of her points in the second half to go along with a season-high three steals.

• Babson enters the weekend ranked second in Division III shooting 38.2 percent from three-point range while averaging 7.2 trifectas per outing.
• Mollica, who owns Babson's single-season (75) and career (199) three-point records, ranks second in Division III in three-pointers per game (3.57) and 13th in three-point percentage (43.1).

• Reale has at least one steal in 29 of her last 30 games and has six during the Beavers' three-game winning streak.
