SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 1-0 all-time against Johns Hopkins in a series that dates back to 2015.
• Wednesday's contest will be the first between the Beavers and Blue Jays in the regular season after the only previous meeting came NCAA Tournament sectional semifinals.

Joey Flannery '17 scored a game-high 21 points and made the go-ahead free throws with 1:50 remaining to lift the Beavers to a 49-47 win over Johns Hopkins in a NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 matchup on March 13, 2015, in Babson Park.
• John Wickey '15 contributed 10 points and nine rebounds for Babson, which trailed 39-34 with 10:21 to play before Flannery scored 13 of the team's last 15 points over the final nine minutes to reach its first national quarterfinal on the way to advancing to the program's first Final Four.
• Jimmy Hammer knocked down six three-pointers on the way to scoring 20 points and Ryan Curran chipped in with 11 points for the Blue Jays, who shot just 20.8 percent over the final 20 minutes.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (6-3) has dropped its last two games and is coming off a 77-44 loss at No. 1 Trinity in its last outing back on December 6.

Timmy Mulvey scored 10 points and first-year
Thomas Ferdinando contributed eight points and two steals for the Beavers, who trailed 22-18 after a three-pointer by Mulvey before getting outscored 28-5 over the final 10:08 of the first half by the Bantams.
• Mulvey (14.1 pts, 2.9 ast) leads the team in assists and has scored in double figures in eight of the first nine games this winter, Ferdinando (13.0 pts, 3.1 reb, 2.2 ast) is shooting 48.3 percent from beyond the arc and junior
Marc Begin II (10.7 pts, 2.7 reb) has scored in double figures four times and leads the squad with 35 free throw attempts.
• The Green and White is averaging 75.4 points on 44.4 percent shooting and ranks 44th in three-point field goals per game (10.0).
SCOUTING THE BLUE JAYS
• No. 22 Johns Hopkins (7-2) bounced back from a 66-60 loss to Susquehanna with a 75-50 win over Illinois Tech on December 21 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
• Nick Klaiber finished with 11 points, Logan Feller added 10 points and four rebounds, and Teagan Swint contributed nine points for the Blue Jays, who got 42 points from their bench and outrebounded the Scarlet Hawks 44-18 in the blowout victory.
• Charlie Jackson (17.9 pts, 8.4 reb) is shooting 48.7 percent and has posted two double-doubles, Wyatt Eglinton Manner (13.3 pts, 5.2 reb, 3.1 ast) leads the team in assists and steals and has scored in double figures seven times, and Klaiber (10.2 pts, 2.9 reb, 2.0 ast) has scored at least 10 points in five of his last seven outings off the bench.
• Johns Hopkins ranks 36th in Division III in rebounding margin (7.8) and is 53rd nationally in scoring defense holding its foes to 67.4 points.
HISTORY LESSON
• Wednesday's contest will be Babson's first in regular season history against any opponent from the Centennial Conference and its first game in the state of Maryland in school history.
• The only other Centennial Conference school the Beavers have visited is Swarthmore, where they lost to Ithaca in the first round of the 2020 NCAA Tournament.

Nate Amado '25 as one of just four players in school history to amass 500 rebounds, 100 steals and 50 blocked shots.
• He ranks 11th in program history with 597 rebounds, 13th with 51 blocked shots, and is currently tied for 17th all-time with 105 steals.
LONG-RANGE BOMBERS
• Ferdinando, who leads the team with 28 three-pointers, ranks ninth in Division III in three-point field goal percentage (48.3) and is 30th in three-pointers per game (3.11).
• Mulvey, who finished two triples shy of Babson's freshman record of 56 last winter, ranks 25th in Division III in three-point percentage (44.3) and is 35th in three-pointers per game (3.00).
TRENDS TO WATCH
• The Beavers are shooting 42.8 percent from deep and averaging 12.3 three-pointers, but are shooting just 20.8 percent and have made 16 total triples in their three losses.
• O'Toole, who leads the squad with two double-doubles, ranks 11th in Division III in offensive rebounds per game (4.11) and has grabbed at least four in seven of the first nine games.

Tyler Lauder (4.7 pts, 6.3 reb, 2.6 ast) is shooting 51.4 percent and ranks second on the team in both rebounds and assists.
