SERIES HISTORY
• Babson is 53-41 all-time against WPI in a series that dates back to the 1974-75 campaign.
• The teams have split their last six games going back to February 25, 2023, and four of the last seven matchups between the Beavers and Engineers have been decided by six points or less.
• The Green and White won eight straight games in the series from 2015 through January 2019, which was followed by WPI recording eight wins in nine contests between the teams from February 2019 through early February 2023.
• Babson snapped a five-game home losing streak against the Engineers with a 71-60 victory last December.
LAST MEETING
• Justin Molen scored a game-high 19 points including the go-ahead hoop with just over three minutes remaining to help WPI defeat Babson, 71-65, on January 29, 2025, in Worcester, Mass.
• Aidan Callahan finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, while Tim Reidy and JR Newman both contributed 11 points for the Engineers, who turned 13 turnovers by the Green and White into 18 points.

Nate Amado '25 added 16 points, eight boards, three blocks and two steals for the Beavers, who erased a 10-point first-half deficit with a 24-7 run to lead by as many as seven early in the second half.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
• Babson (6-1) has won its last two games and is coming off an 87-82 victory over Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Sunday afternoon.
• Mulvey poured in a career-high 31 points on 12-of-14 shooting, sophomores

SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS
• No. 22 WPI (5-1) bounced back from its first loss of the season with an 85-65 road win over Fitchburg State last Tuesday.
• Nathan Bledsoe went 7-of-9 from three-point range on the way to scoring a career-high 26 points, Molen contributed 18 points and eight rebounds, and Jack Bleier chipped in with 11 points and two steals for the Engineers, who shot 54.2 percent and led by as many as 27 late in the second half.
• Molen (17.8, 7.7 reb, 3.8 ast, 2.0 stl) is shooting 46.1 percent and has scored in double figures five times in six starts, Bledsoe (16.8 pts, 4.5 reb) ranks 12th in Division III making 3.67 three-pointers per game, and Newman (12.7 pts, 4.5 reb, 2.0 stl) has scored in double figures three times and is tied for the team lead in steals.

LONG-RANGE MARKSMEN
• The Beavers knocked down a season-high 17 three-pointers while shooting 48.6 percent from beyond the arc in Sunday's win over Saint Joseph.
• Mulvey's seven triples were one shy of the single-game program record set by Phil Riffe '05 against Bowdoin in 2004 and matched by Matt Palazini '14 (vs. Bowdoin, 2012) and Nick Comenale '18 (vs. Becker, 2016).
• Murphy and Frauenheim both finished the game with three three-pointers apiece and Fiore went 2-for-3 from deep as Babson made its most trifectas in a game since hitting 18 in a 96-71 over Springfield on February 10, 2022.
BEAVERS PICKED SECOND IN NEWMAC COACHES POLL
• Coming off of last year's third-place finish in the league standings, Babson received a pair of first-place votes and came in second behind WPI when the conference released its preseason coaches' poll back in October.
• The Engineers, who have claimed four straight NEWMAC regular season titles, earned three first-place votes to finish atop the poll with 57 points, the Beavers came in as the runner-up with 53 points and defending conference tournament champion Clark was third with three first-place votes and 51 points.
COMING THROUGH IN THE CLUTCH
• Over the final two-plus minutes of Sunday's win over Saint Joseph, Frauenheim scored eight points and came up with a huge steal to help the Beavers improve to 5-0 on the year in games decided by five points or fewer.
• He knocked down the go-ahead three-pointer at the 2:15 mark, stripped a Blue Jays' ball handler at mid-court before drilling another triple, and then went 2-of-2 at the free throw line to put the game away with 19 seconds remaining.
ELITE COMPANY
• O'Toole is currently one of six players in Babson history with at least 500 rebounds and 100 steals along with Jim Pierrakos '92, Bryant Richards '96, Zach Etten '09, associate head coach
Joey Flannery '17 and former teammate
Nate Amado '25.
• He ranks 13th in program history with 575 rebounds and is currently 18th with 101 steals. He also needs just two more blocked shots to join Richards, Flannery and Amado is the only players in school history with at least 500 rebounds, 100 steals and 50 blocks.
TRENDS TO WATCH
• Senior
Tyler Lauder ranks second on the team in both rebounds (7.1) and assists (2.9), and is shooting 60.7 percent from the floor.
• Mulvey ranks eighth in Division III with 24 three-pointers and 21st nationally shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc.
• Ferdinando, who is Babson's first rookie to score in double figures in each of his first six games going back at least 16 years, is 13th in Division III with 23 three-pointers and is shooting 46 percent from long range.
• O'Toole ranks 27th in Division III in offensive rebounds per game (3.86) and 38th in field goal percentage.
• In two starts this season, Murphy is averaging 13.5 points, 3.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals while shooting 55.6 percent (10-of-18) from the floor.
• Over the last three contests, Frauenheim has scored in double figures twice and is averaging 8.0 points, 4.7 assists and 2.3 steals.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
• The Beavers are 4-0 at home this season have won three straight games versus nationally-ranked foes inside Staake Gymnasium, which includes knocking off preseason-No. 4 Tufts back on November 14.
• Babson is 13-0 over the last two seasons when making at least 10 three-pointers.
• The Green and White is 5-0 this year and 13-2 since the start of the 2024-25 campaign when winning the rebounding battle.
• Babson has shot 44 percent or better in all six of its wins, while WPI has held three of its first six foes below 40 percent from the field.
